Oh dear, where to start? We went in and the restaurant was literally empty, but we were told tgere was a 10 minute wait. We ordered the soup, which arrived cold, and the waitress just said she thought 1 minute in the microwave was enough to get it warmed up. I ordered the half rack of ribs with shrimp... but she forgot the shrimp as you can see from my plate. The coleslaw was literally full of sugar, I could not eat it. The french fries were soggy and my partner's baked potato was cold. 1) just fire that useless waitress. She did not even clear the soup plates before we got served the main. I only had the ribs and left the fries snd awful coleslaw.

The breakfast staff at Lynchburg Legends made the day & made our stay. The lady that was the breakfast host was the most helpful & friendly & observant host we have seen during this nasty corona business at just about any hotel, the server was nipping at her heels with great service & helpful answers, & hot coffee. The food was prepared deliciously, no matter what we threw at them during our stay. The ladies at Lynchburg Legends restaurant truly made the difference in our stay.

I requested a draft beer by the large name on the spigot. Apparently the bartender only knew it by the much smaller name on the top which I honestly could not read from my vantage point. I think she could’ve used a little imagination and shortened the time it took me to order. Food is OK. They have to go somewhere else to get change. The pecan pie was soggy. Unfortunately, during all of my visits I seem to be underwhelmed.

3 of us ate here for their Thanksgiving Buffet since it offered a wide range of items and was far cheaper than the spread put on by the Peabody. They are not set up very well to handle a huge number of people in regard to traffic flow. We were all crammed up at the hostess stand and the buffet area was on the other side of the restaurant where everyone had to walk through by the front door. I think they should have spaced out the reservation times so that there weren't as many guests arriving at the same time. They should have had more servers to man the buffet areas. We got there at 1:00 and it looked like a war zone and not very appealing even if the food was okay. By the time we went for dessert, there weren't a lot of choices and as I stated, the area was messy with crumbs and mostly empty pie tins scattered around. Some of the food was lukewarm since they didn't have warmers underneath the containers. The green bean casserole tasted old, like it was made the day before and left to sit out for hours. We managed to find some things we felt were decent since they had so much to choose from, but at least half of it was minimal at best.

Not liking scrabled eggs, I asked if I could get an omelette, even though I was having the buffet. No mention of an extra carge ad when the bill came, there was a substantial upcharge. The service was non-existent!

First off when I called to order the man who took my order told me to bring cash but never told me the price. Then when I arrived he tried to charge me Over 30 dollars for 15 party wings and my boyfriend realized it then he said oh I thought y'all order 30 when he had already repeated the order stating 15 he was trying to get over then told us 5 minutes and it would be ready took way over 5 minutes and the whole time he had told me to pay with cash I was seeing customer come in and pay with card with no problem

Everything was fresh, not over cooked, appetizing and plentiful. The coffee is especially good. Service great. Prices as expected for a hotel like DoubleTree

Hotel operators wonder why hotel guest don’t use their restaurants? It’s because of guest 1st impressions. Had to wait at least a good 10 min for the bartender to show up then the service was not conducive of the Hilton way. The next morning I went out to eat breakfast. The food was good but not the service. I tipped less than 10% if that says anything.

I can no longer support this business and the bad customer service, primarily of the owners' daughter Tashara. I called to place a call-in order. The phone was answered, but no says anything. I held the phone for about 1 minute before someone hangs up the phone. They never say "hello" or ask me to hold. I call back, same thing. Got there, there was a guy who wanted to order "hot seasoned" wings. She rolls her eyes and says "We don't have hot seasoned". The guy questions her, asking "ya'll don't have a dry seasoning that's hot?" She looks at him like she has no clue what he's talking about and says "no". Me and another customer helped the guy out and told him it was the "spicy seasoned" he probably wants. He thanked us and continued to order. The other customer who was witnessing how rude she was to this guy began to comment on how rude Tashara was to her as well and how she wouldn't even say "hello" on the phone and she had to keep calling back. I was shocked to hear that she had not only done this to me, but this lady as well! It is not acceptable for any business to not greet a customer on the phone with a simple "hello" or "may I have your order please". It's common courtesy and telephone etiquette. It should not matter how busy you are. You would not have a business if not for paying customers. To hold the phone in silence and assume the caller is going to say "hello" or yell "go ahead with their order!" is rude, unprofessional, and unacceptable. When I made it to the cash register to pay for my food, I paid with a credit card. I thought it was very weird that I never received a copy of my receipt to total and sign. I have been here several times before and have always received a copy to sign and total and leave a tip when I chose to do so. I witnessed customers before me signing and totaling their receipts so I this was very odd to me. I had more wait time before my food was ready. There was a lady sitting next to me that whispers to me, "Make sure you sign and total out your receipt" and with her facial expression I can tell that she may have heard or experienced something herself with extra charges possibly being added to her card. I immediately realize that this was great advice and it was definitely unusual to not have been given my receipt to total and sign as I usually am. I wait until Tashara is done with customers and return to the register and politely say, "Hi, I didn't sign and total my receipt." She says with a smirk "you don't have to". I say, "Usually I sign and total my receipt whenever I use my credit card." She says "We ain't gonna do nothing but throw it away at the end of the night." This is crazy to me because I witnessed her give other customers their receipt to total and sign so why not me? I say, "Well I would prefer to." She puts a nasty look on her face and goes to where she was collecting the SIGNED receipts and asks for my name. She hands me my receipt. I ask for a pen, total, and sign my name. I hand it back to her, she SNATCHES it out of my hand and holds it up in my face, balls it up, shoots it like a basketball into the trash and yells "DUNKED IT!" I assume she expected to get a confrontational reaction from me, but I am a business professional and will never stoop to the level of this poor, immature, unprofessional, nasty, rude individual. I ask her for her name and she replies "Tashara" and turns around and walks away. I attempted to reach the owner, her mother Tracy, at the Perkins location twice to share my experience and never received a call back after leaving my information. They left me on hold for several minutes and then hung up the phone. How can I expect anything better from the daughter when the location the owner works at is managed just as poorly?! I will no longer spend my hard earned money here or send friends, family, or client

Honestly, the best wings compared to d'bos or crumpys. I ordered the" managers special " . It consist of 3 whole wings , fries , and a drink for only $4.99 ! You can't beat that ! It definitely fills you up if you're looking for a inexpensive wing meal! They have great customer service as well ! I definitely will be a regular here !

Curious why there were only 3 customers at 9:00 at a hotel restaurant. Found out, the service is incredibly slow and inept. Even with only 3...now 2 customers, I can’t get my food ordered. Can’t explain a reason. Bartender just vanishes at times!
