I cannot believe that I've never done a review of Libro! I have been going to Libro for years, and it has always been an excellent experience. Tucked away in the bookstore, this restaurant delivers an upscale ambience, casual service. I typically order the salads, but when I've gone with a small group, everyone enjoys their food. You can't go wrong here. In the late spring and early summer, it is so nice to sit outside on their small patio. I also don't remember...
Our experience was mostly due to a less than stellar waiter. He didn’t tell us about the specials (we heard another waiter tell a table after we had ordered). He did not tell us all of the items on the kids menu. We had to flag him down for almost every interaction and even had to order drinks from the bartender. Lastly, he forgot to put in one of our side dishes, so it wasn’t ready until after we had paid and completed our meal.
