Be careful and don't order the seafood broth, it doesn't work and my whole family got sick with diarrhea and vomiting and we got a stomach infection.

Huge portions; we had two full take home boxes. A pitcher of Dos Equis for $12.00! Salsa was not one of my favorites. I had two Chile rellennos, one filled with cheese and another with ground beef. Both were good but I preferred the cheese. The refried beans were standard and the rice was cold. My husband had a combination dish of meats and vegetables over rice plus a sopa that was huge. He enjoyed his food. Service was attentive without being overwhelming. The restaurant was full, proving its popularity. We won't make a special trip to eat there but will definitely stop in when we are in the area.
As someone who recently moved to Memphis and has struggled to find a Mexican restaurant that was not bland or mediocre, I was so happy to have found this restaurant. The quaint atmosphere, great service, and great tasting food have earned them a spot in my restaurant rotation.
