Huge portions; we had two full take home boxes. A pitcher of Dos Equis for $12.00! Salsa was not one of my favorites. I had two Chile rellennos, one filled with cheese and another with ground beef. Both were good but I preferred the cheese. The refried beans were standard and the rice was cold. My husband had a combination dish of meats and vegetables over rice plus a sopa that was huge. As someone who recently moved to Memphis and has struggled to find a Mexican restaurant that was not bland or mediocre, I was so happy to have found this restaurant. The quaint atmosphere, great service, and great tasting food have earned them a spot in my restaurant rotation.
Small quaint place for good Mexican food. Fresh made tortilla chips are excellent. Salsa is not spicy but I loved the bright, fresh flavor. Chicken burrito was excellent. Mushroom sopes is a great choice for a vegetarian dish.
