Frankly, I used to love this place. Today I ordered the Black & Blue Sandwich, which used to be made with a blackened steak, a reasonable amount of Gorgonzola and on a proper ciabatta bread. Today I received a “ciabatta like” bread, with one tiny slice of blue cheese and sliced deli beef (disgusting, also nothing to do with blackened beef). Really not worth the ~$11.

Had a bunch of family visiting for the holidays and planned a "Gentleman's Day" with my nephews. The boys had a terrible experience next door at the Warhammer store but they were hungry and requested Italian so I knew Lucchesi's was the answer! Service is always friendly, helpful, and efficient.

They got the chicken tetrazzini and muffaletta. I'm partial to the meatball hoagie :-) "Dank" was one word used to describe the food. Apparently that means it's really good! Also brought home a BBQ pizza for the rest of the family. They enjoyed the bbq so much that they requested to eat at the actual Commissary in Germantown. We have one in Collierville but the Germantown one is far better.

It's more of a take and bake. They have frozen entreés as well as refrigerated. A small sandwich area. I got the lasagna. It's cooked, but it's out of the refrigerated. A couple of minutes in the microwave, and it was good. A little under staffed, but every business is right now.

I have been coming to lucchesi’s for a while now. I always received great service and the food was generally excellent. Now the reason I am posting this review is that my girlfriend and I stopped by to get some takeout for dinner. Long story short, we bought spaghetti and meatballs and brought it home, but when we arrived and opened it, it was covered in mold! Hopefully this was just a one time thing and someone forgot to switch out the stock in the refrigerator, but this definitely gives me some reservations about going back.

This food is horrible since the previous owner sold this business and allowed the new owner to operate under the same name!! The spinach is greens instead of spinach without garlic and the lasagna is watery and the noodles are not cooked well. I was also treated with disdain and no reaction period..just dry. I will NEVER go back!!!

I’m from Brooklyn. And Lucchesi’s is not quite up to comparison, but they do have a really assortment of Italian products. And some Excellent Tiramisu ! And other pastries. Service was friendly, not big on atmosphere but they make a take and bake pizza that’s pretty good. We went back and got 2 more for the freezer. I would recommend it for good casual eats to go.
