Just visited on 1/3 around 3-4pm local time for the first time with my mom and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Cheyenne (I hope I spelled it right) had wonderful hospitality and customer service! Very friendly and the food was great as well. Give her a raise as she deserves it !

Lucy J's is my favorite stop in the morning! I'm always racing to grab a cinnamon roll, jalapeño and ham cheese pocket, or their sausage biscuit before they're sold out. You can find almost all of your savory sweet treats at Lucy J's.

I absolutely love the customer service here!! The cinnamon rolls are the best!!
Either the baker needs a set of stronger lenses in his glasses or he needs to learn manners. I’m 6’2 250 lbs, hard to overlook as you help two people who came in behind me.
I’d say something else was afoot, but they can have it. With service like that they’ll never be as good as Muddys, Hive and Bagel or Cafe Electic.
Best cinnamon roll in Memphis
Bought a special set of cupcakes decorated as flowers for a birthday lunch. A huge hit and they were delicious. Love buying from a place with a good mission. Support them.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Lucy J’s for years, but I’ve noticed something disappointing. It’s rare to see a locally owned business where the owner seems so disconnected from the customers. Every time I visit, I get the impression that my presence doesn’t matter, or is unwanted. There’s no greeting, no warmth, just a lack of engagement—not only from the owner but from most of the staff as well.
What’s even more unsettling is the noticeable difference in attitude when other patrons with lighter complexions come in. Suddenly, there’s enthusiasm and cheerfulness that I’ve never experienced. It’s disheartening and makes me question the values of the establishment.

So boom….I placed a customized cake order for my best friend for a vegan cake. The customer service was terrible. I emailed multiple times and did not receive a response but when I called they said they had seen the emails. The proper thing to do is respond then?¿ Upon picking up the cake, my friend and I were barely greeted. On top of that, one of my friends had an allergic reaction to the cake and they refused to let us know what ingredients were in the cake. All in all it was a 0/10. Cake was cute but the service and everything after was quite traumatic.

The service today was absolutely horrible! No one spoke to my group when we walked into the bakery. Both employees were very rude and ignored us. When we were finally addressed we were asked, "Are you just looking or are you going to buy something?" The woman decorating the cupcakes never acknowledged our presence. She didn't even look up to ask us if we needed assistance. I would suggest that staff receive training in the area of customer service. For employee verification this occurred on May 8, 2024 at 12:50pm.
