Decided to stop here for a late night drink. Rocky, the substitute bartender, was fantastic!! He wasn't suppose to work that night, but I'm so glad he did! The drinks were great! This is a major compliment coming from a New Orleans native. So stop at this bar and hopefully Rocky will be your bartender! Thanks Rocky!

Lunar's cute and trendy atmosphere makes it perfect for bar hopping, pictures, or people watching. I love that the crafted cocktails seem to be made with fresh ingredients. I say it seems because I've only had The Winchester, which is delicious blood orange vanilla maragarita. The food menu is pretty small, so I would categorize them as a just bar and not a full restaurant. Definitely somewhere you can grab a quick bite as They have more than bar snacks but don't expect anything gourmet. Lunar is also a cafe, so if you're looking for coffee, they can assist you there as well!

We stopped by since we were staying upstairs at the Napoleon, to have a quick breakfast bite. All of us ordered either a bagel or quesadilla of sorts, took a while to get our food but our barista/bartender/waitress was very nice, apologized without us even saying a word about it, and offered to discount our bill. I ordered the sausage bagel and Americano, which were actually pretty good. But as others have stated, there definitely seems to be an emphasis on drinks here than food for sure.

We enjoyed the special cocktails made by the awesome and friendly bartender, Rocky... we named them Rock-tinis. He also gave us great tips of where to go on Beale st. for our first time in Memphis. I highly recommend stopping by and letting Rocky make you some great cocktails.

Rocky the bartender made the experience for me -- the personification of Southern hospitality at its finest. The best part about Memphis is the people and the conversation. This is a great hotel and bar to boot. Be sure to make it part of your trip. You won't be disappointed.

we went down for a bagel with cream cheese and the next day a breakfast wrap and coffee. It was fine and prices were typical. Understaffed and food took a long time.
The best part was f any visit to Memphis is the people, and the people at Luna are fantastic. Rocky is one of the best bartender/servers ever. The drinks are good and the food is tasty. If you are downtown, be sure to drop in!

The nicest worker ever. Rocky was nice, funny, and extremely considerate. The food was good for a quick breakfast and the coffee was spectacular! I 100% would recommend this place.

My wife and I booked this place through AAA during our cross country move to the east coast. After a full day of driving we finally arrived. We called in to inquire about the parking garage and learned that the garage was a separate entity from the hotel. The garage did not have security and I did not feel comfortable leaving my vehicle overnight. We also didn’t feel very safe in the area. The hotel has limited staff. I only saw the 1 person at the front desk and a security guard who had his computer setup on a table and didn’t seem present with the guests walking in. When I spoke to the woman at the front desk I explained that we wanted to cancel our reservation since we were uncomfortable and didn’t feel safe staying overnight. With a smile on her face she explained that it’s past the 48 hour notice and could not do anything. She claimed she spoke to the manager and could not help. AAA was unable to help so it was either stay at a place that we didn’t feel comfortable or book another room elsewhere. We ended up leaving and lost the cost of the reservation. I understand the cancellation policy but it’s not like we were a no show or decided to cancel for no reason. It was a safety concern and not once were we reassured about anything. They were more concerned to keep their money and had no care about their customer. I work with the hospitality business frequently and one thing I learned is that customer satisfaction is more important even if it means losing a reservation. And chuckling at someone while they express their concern is a big no no. It is what it is but I will never recommend this place to anyone. Do yourself and pay the extra money at the Peabody or Westin and avoid this place.

Rocky took amazing care during my stay from amazing coffee and recommendations to great conversation. A genuine host! Hope to go see him again at this trendy boutique downtown hotel. Room was cozy like an NYC loft with big windows to sit in.
