This restaurant is fantastic. I tried the lamb over rice, and it was absolutely delicious. If you're on the heavier side like me, you could ask for extra salad and less rice. The place is filled with beautiful Somali people, making the atmosphere even better.

Unprofessional guy answers the phone and I ask him I need to Oder rice and meat he was keep telling me call me back at 7:00 pm I’m truck driver I drove 100 miles away just cause my somalian food and by the time I was close he talking about there’s no rice don’t tell no one to call u back unless u guna save it

Fantastic food the meat both beef and goat extremely tender with perfect exotic seasonings cant go wrong with that and the amount is ridiculous yep very filling that plate is filled to the brim with rice and goat meat.I recommend this for first timers believe me u will be back like i did 😋

Luula's has some of the best samosas in Memphis. Also, they have donated food for incarcerated Muslims. Please support this restaurant.

Lamb plate was good. The lamb wasn’t too overly seasoned so the taste of the meat really shined through. Mild flavor, don’t expect anything spicy which for me is a plus, and good for kids.

My gripe was with the price. Menu says 15 dollars. Then I get to the counter and they charge me $22. I say oh the menu says 15, they smile and say it’s the old price. False advertising. They had crossed out other old prices for salmon and replaced them, why was that not done for lamb? I know it’s not a lot of money, but the service just felt like ‘I’m gonna make up whatever price for her I feel like’, which defeats the purpose of a menu.

DEAR MEMPHIS!! If you haven’t been here you are missing out! Was passing through Memphis and found an amazing Somali food joint with great hospitality and even better food. They even have more to offer such as dried foods and spices for sale and for all my Somali brothers that send money back home they have a TAHJ! Writing this review today to tell everyone that they need to come here and have a dish or two!
