Showing grace and giving 2 stars based on quality of previous orders. I placed an order through uber eats. I got a call from the restaurant letting me know that the chef was out and that they didn’t know how to make okoro. They offered to substitute to egusi as it was made. I told them no thank you and to offer a refund. The person on the phone said they’ll see if the chef can make it and will call me back. What I received was raw okra tossed in palm oil. I don’t think the chef made this. I’ve had okoro many times , and from this restaurant. I would rather they had cancel and refund than send this mess. The okra is very raw and there’s no flavor

Friendly!!!
Egusi soup was nothing but oil and goat fat!
EDIT: I called and let them know what was going on! They told me to bring it back and she remade my order no oil and no fatty goat. Thank you so much
The workers were amazing, extremely friendly and definitely know how to cook. Let’s get to the food and I definitely can’t complain. The fish was cooked to perfection, pulling off the bone and the seasoning just puts it together. Suya was well cooked and spicy (how I like it). Over all, this is a spot I will come to often because out how good the food is and the service. I’m also pretty sure the drink is home made because why is it so good
Fun place with an exciting twist of flavors. I really enjoyed everything. The salmon inspired me to try some new things with mine. My god, the wings were spectacular, and the rice just set it off even better. I can't think of a single thing I didn't throughly enjoy. Staf were great and fun to talk to. An A+ from me. Loved every bite.
Ordered takeout of the egusi soup fufu and jollof rice The bowl of egusi soup was not even half filled. I tried this place because of the ratings but obviously these people don’t know how authentic African egusi tastes. I will stick to Bala’s Bistro because the food is better and portions are proper for the price. I have had African food cooked by my African cohorts and the closest to authentic is definitely Bala’s Bistro
I just ordered from door dash and u all took my money dont eat at this place y’all
I bought Egusi and fufu with fish, then fried yam and sauce. I am Nigerian and this is about the worst egusi I have tasted in my life. Was cooked with turbogee oil and whole plate was filled with oil. I can't begin to explain that concoction they called egusi, it was beyond bad so I packet it up for the trash. I then tried to swallow my fufu with the sauce I bought for the fried yam. I thought that would have some Chilli pepper, but nah. Just ate that fried yam to hold my hunger till I got to the next Popeyes. Bad experience and I don't recommend.
The Food Was Some Of The Best I've Tasted In My Life. Most definitely 10 out of 10.Its going to be hard not to eat here every weekend.
They had a great lunch hour deal that saved me a few dollars on DoorDash and when my food arrived it was still hot. The assorted meat was a unique experience I’ll say. At first I thought the portions was small but once I started eating I was full as a tick. My favorite of the fish, fufu and egusi was the fish it really made the meal filling. Next time I think I’ll try the chicken and egusi
Food is always fresh and delicious.

We came into this experience not knowing what to expect. We had NO idea it was just a catering business and we just showed up, and they were SO nice! We had never tried fufu, and were so excited! They took our order right there in the middle of their store, gave us free homemade lemonade, brought it all out to our car, and were the just overall the most welcoming people. The food was AMAZING, especially the okra soup. VERY happy with it!

My friends and I did not realize that M and M Kitchen typically just does delivery orders until we pulled up in front of their building. But a staff member met us outside (in the rain!) and told us they could take our order anyway and give it to us directly. We were very grateful that they accommodated us, and our food still came out quickly and was very delicious. I would highly recommend the coconut rice!
This is the worst place to order a food. They got a poor service and they are not time conscious. I put in an order at 12:52pm and I was told my food will be ready at 1:30. I gave them more time and I got there at 2:10 hoping I will just pick up my food but unfortunately my food wasn’t ready. There is a Nigerian lady there , can’t remember her name . SHe is very rude and got no manners of how to talk to costumers. She told me to wait extra 10mnte which I did and they still never come out to give me my food.
I went in to ask them for my food cos I’m on the clock I was upset tellin her I’m on the clock . She came at me and instructing one of there workers to take the food back insulting me
That the the first time , today is my 5th time going there and this happen every time I go there.
This restaurant is not a good place to order your food if you are time conscious or you are on the clock at work because they will mess u up and delay your food

I was coming through from Arkansas and I decided to try out their food. I had received very good reviews from some friends and so I had to try it out! And my goodness I was impressed! The yam was well fried just the way I want it, the fish was well seasoned too! And the pepper sauce just made everything a 10/10 experience. I highly recommend everyone to try it out. And ow, the customer service I received was very good. They constantly kept assuring me and giving me updates on how soon my food was going to be ready. 10/10
