I recently visited Magnolia and May and unfortunately, I was not impressed. The pancakes I ordered seemed undercooked, which was disappointing. While the service was alright, the quality of the food really didn’t meet my expectations. On a positive note, the mimosa was enjoyable. Overall, I don’t think I’ll be returning.

We decided to try this place after seeing positive reviews. The restaurant was clean and our server was great. For a starter we had buffalo broccoli which was good. We didn’t care for either of our entrees. I had the French toast & fried chicken. Maybe it is just a personal preference but I didn’t care for the flavor profile which was citrusy and savory. The flavors were just clashing and doing too much. If it had been served with maple syrup I likely would have enjoyed it more. The burger was not great. For the price point we felt disappointed.

This place got rave reviews from a friend. The staff was excellent. Accommodating, friendly, professional. I ordered the burger medium well. It was past well done and dry as he!#. A redeeming factor the dip and cocktail were the bomb.

I went based on the reviews. Are these fake reviews. I ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes and The Biscuits and gravy. The fried green tomatoes were crunchy. Extremely undercooked. The grits were hard and bacon was hard and dry. They apologized and discontinued the meal. I could not stomach any of it. I don't understand the positive reviews. I'm convinced we eat anything in Memphis. This was very subpar.

I had the heirloom tomato sandwich with a side salad. Both were excellent, and I'm looking forward to ordering those again and trying out the test of the menu! My husband had the patty melt with fries. My sandwich was the better of the two. His waffle fries were great- love the seasoning.

The eggplant bacon dip was so good we ordered a second. The drinks were all Golden Girl themed and we had like six. They were all amazing! The manager Austin was absolutely wonderful but the entire staff really made it great!

Stopped by another spot that had a ridiculous wait list. Called here,and the lady that answered the phone said come on down. Got there and we were greeted by amazing service. I ordered the distinguished guest breakfast. It was amazing. My wife ordered the mustard and cornmeal fried catfish. It was also amazing. BTW the preserves they gave me with my breakfast were sent down from heaven. Two 👍 up. We'll definitely be back soon!

We were seated outside on the patio on this beautiful hot June day and felt they after we ordered we were forgotten about. People seated outside after us were attentively attended to and got their food before us. Our appetizers finally arrived and then no one came back outside to check on us or refill waters for over 20 minutes. I eventually went inside to ask for water and then our entrees were sent out a while after that. Felt like they forgot we were there? And the server for the other table completely ignored us even when she came outside to give the other table water multiple times and my glass was completely empty. Food was good, but we won't be back.
