Went here today on a whim and so glad that I did. Service was wonderful and food was really good! Drinks were excellent!

Absolutely one of the most UNDERRATED restaurants in Memphis. Jalapeño dip is a MUST. Also, the Redfish entree is out of bounds. Great atmosphere and service. 10/10 experience.

Once again, a great dinner at Magnolia in May. Really good service from our waitress, and it wasn't noisy tonight, so it was easier to talk to my dinner companion than sometimes is the case. The chocolate gelato was very good, although I wish I could have one of their gluten filled desserts like the bread pudding. Definitely great to go during happy hour when you get half-price wine! I might skip the deviled egg since there wasn't much deviled about it. Wonderful outing!

The food here is quite good and the fish (especially the Trout) is superb. I took away a full star in the rating due to an oversight that I think can be a big experience let down for those on a lower carb diet. It was a BIG let down for me.I HIGHLY recommend that the fine folks at Mag & May adjust their appetizer menu description to CLEARLY STATE that the Buffalo Broccolini is DEEP FRIED in a batter!! All they have to do is simply add in the description that the Brocollini is fried and coated in a batter thst is seasoned in a Buffalo sauce. I was expecting since there was no mention of it being fried that this would be roasted or steamed Broccolini in a Buffalo Wing sauce that you can then dip in Blue Cheese or Ranch dressing served on the side. When the waitress brought the fried Brocollini I was completely let down. Wasted $10. Nobody wanted it. This totally could have been avoided with the simple inclusion of the word "fried".If we decide to ever return,...I Will not ever order that again. It kinda put a sour note on what was followed by a VERY GOOD dinner with wonderfully prepared fish and greens.

Happy hour with friends for my first time at this quaint little restaurant. Definitely gave me creole vibes with the menu and Mardi Gras decor. Our server was really personable and checked in often. The environment is casual, they have a good selection of cocktails and happy hour specials on food and drinks from 4-6. We tried the jalapeño cheese fries topped with a spicy cheese sauce and pulled pork and buffalo broccoli, the fries had good flavor, but weren't freshly cooked, the buffalo broccoli was fresh and good, batter was super crispy. I had a frozen drink with chaos in the name and it packed a punch, but was fruity and delicious.

We had an excellent brunch here with a decent sized group. Service was good, food was spot on, atmosphere was lively and enjoyable. Will absolutely be back!

Hmmm......terrible food. Like, wow, just so bad. Awesome ambiance, great themed decor and impressive themed drinks menu, but such awful food. I asked our waitress if I could have blackened catfish instead of fried. After checking with the kitchen, I was assured this was fine. What I got was definitely black. No seasoning at all and black. Totally inedible dish when I include the stupid, no taste, appropriated Japanese cabbage pancake thing. My friend tried the same dish unedited and also couldn't stomach it. My other friend tried a fish fillet that came out as more of a fish medallion with some random veggies. Also bad. The waitress did offer to bring us something else but I wasn't willing to risk another $30/plate on some other terrible dish. My Grinch-themed drink was pretty good though.Tried for a second time-food and service truly horrendous. $6 for 3 slices of fried green tomatoes that had absolutely no taste. No seasoning, not even salt. Drinks on the other hand were phenomenal. Themed drinks that were not only adorable but really really good. The bar is the only reason to visit this place.Parking: Not a lot of parking in this area so you probably have to take the chance of parking in another business' lot.

Cute decor but it does not make up for the horrible food and lackluster service.

I was able to experience Magnolia & Mistletoe Brunch After Dark recently. The establishment was decorated for Christmas, & it was so adorable. So many festive cocktails, and festive food options. It was perfect for a date night. There was only one individual working as wait staff, the host would fill water & run food, sometimes the cooking staff would run food, and one bar staff. The wait person didn’t seem to use paper to take orders, which added confusion when interrupted. It did take a bit of time between ordering cocktails, and receiving said cocktails. Our meal came out before our cocktails, which is a bit odd. We ordered a second round of drinks, and one of the drinks was incorrect.Overall it’s cute, & festive. It takes a while to have the cocktails to be made, or brought to your table.
