Best banana pudding I ever had in my life. They didn't have pie yet when we went at opening but told to come back at 3 for sweet potato and maybe pecan. We tried all the cookies - they were good - heavy on the butter (to be expected if you read anything) but the smaller cookies and banana pudding are the best. No pics taken - everything went straight to my belly

I travel for work and always look for a delicious sweet treat in new cities. I haven't been able to get their banana pudding out of my mind and can't find another banana pudding anywhere on this level. It's the homemade butter cookies they use. Life changing.

We got there late in the day on a Sunday, so there wasn't much of a selection. I was craving pie and the only flavor they had left was pecan. But dang if that wasn't the best pecan pie I ever had. The service by the young man at the counter was really good, too. Hope this place is in business for a long time. Will definitely be stopping by this place again the next time I am in Memphis.

I love banana pudding. I went on a little banana pudding tour while visiting Memphis and this place was amazing. It was the best banana pudding I had in Memphis. I literally went there and got the banana pudding after eating dinner at a restaurant just up the street. The pudding here was thick and smooth. Had a fantastic balance between the sweetness and the fresh pop of the bananas. A lot of the banana puddings l had in the city were very very sweet and or runny or had so many nilla wafers that it was just a cake. This is a must try spot...and don't get me started on those butter cookies, which they use in there banana pudding. Do yourself a favor and get some of those cookies!

I cannot believe I have not yet written a review for the BUTTERIFFIC goodness that is BUTTERIFFIC Bakery & Cafe!This place is warm and welcoming. As soon as you walk in the door - butter and sugar smell - smacks you in the face! They have other delicious food too, (chicken salad and other grab and go items in the fridge). Many menu items are inspired by family recipes and/or a creative palate or both.There are always friendly people in the seating area and the staff is always energetic.The owner is a truly lovely person…who never sleeps…is always on the grind but also constantly extends an open door, a keen ear and literally her BUTTERIFIC space to other entrepreneurs, small business owners and people in the community.This person, all the people and this place - are both a gem and a port in the storm.I feel great about downtown and the city of Memphis with neighbors like BUTTERIFFIC Bakery and Cafe ❤️ delivering morsels of homemade happiness with every bite!

I went here on a recommendation from a friend who was waiting on one of the puddings to be ready, and I grabbed six cookies. The owner was so kind and friendly and inviting, same for the staff. The cookies were delicious, Strawberry is the best and I'm gonna go back to buy the entire stock soon. Butter was great, pb choc chip was the bomb, and the rest were all very solid. Would recommend, go here or you're missing out.
