We love this place and have been coming for years. One of the original hip coffee shops in Memphis. Great little gift shop, nice treats, fresh hot coffee. It’s a perfect atmosphere to work alone, study or visit with friends. It’s a total midtown vibe. Don’t miss it if you are visiting from out of town. It’s the real Memphis.
It took at least 20 minutes to get my coffee order. They were slammed on a Sunday morning. There were at least 10 orders ahead of mine. Seating was plentiful inside and decor was eclectic. Coffee was okay.
Came here for a late breakfast, place much bigger than I had thought, lots of quirky rooms and spaces and quite a few people using it to work. Felt a nice vibe. We had Heidi’s breakfast special and I ordered a mocha freeze and my husband the Heathers Ale (soft drink). The breakfast was a veggie patty on a muffin, tasty and not that big. My drink was missed though so had to ask for it when it was clear it wasn’t coming!! Nice place though and had a outdoor area out back but today was CHILLY!
Traveling through Memphis and was looking for a space open New Years Day in the am. Otherlands was perfect. They brew their own Chai (spicy, add some sweetener!) and delicious coffee.
Was refreshing to come across this hipster cafe. Books are provided. Eclectic and cultural decor. Multiple rooms with lamps, tables, couches & loveseats. Went for brunch. Varieties of beverages from cold and & hot. Cozy. I vacationed from Northeast to Miss. Then from there wwnt here in search of a nearby coffee shop that reminded me of home with the hipster vibe.
Cool place and delicious coffee. I ordered a Spiced Mocha and it was wonderful. Seems like a friendly local place. Spacious and warm.
