I decided to try them while scrolling Uber Eats looking for lunch. Who says you can’t have a banana split and fruit salad for lunch? They were amazing! I also found out they have a shop close to my house. So last night’s snack was nachos, Mangonadas, and of course a banana split! FYI the banana split is a meal all on its own so plan to share if eating other things. I highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Several years ago we walked into a grocery store in Phoenix. To this day my all time favorite grocery store! Yeah sounds weird right? Well this store (Pro's Ranch Market, now Los Altos Ranch Market) was like walking into Mexico. When you walked in you were greeted by the smell of fresh tortillas being made. Half the store was set up for their tortillas and eating area. As you followed your nose to this area you were greeted by a stand of Aqua Fresca's. These are so good and refreshing. Ever since that time I have been trying to make and find a location that makes these drinks. I found them at Los Mangos Neveria y Fruteria. So after stuffing ourselves like it was Thanksgiving at El Pollo Real, we walked across the street to check this place out. While not being able to speak any Spanish outside of a few swear words, this is authentic as it gets. What really stood out when we walked in is how fresh all the fruit looked. There are smoothies, ice cream, those aqua frescas and all sorts of toppings for the fruit. The fruit here was easily the freshest that I have seen in a long time. The berries, melons, bananas all looked fantastic. All of a sudden those bellies full of chicken, potatoes, beans and rice were finding some cracks. I ordered an aqua fresca, my nephew a fruit and yogurt mix, my wife ice cream and my brother a smoothie. In the interest of full disclosure I was trying to look up the definitions of what some of their fruits and items were listed as. I found out I could just point to the item and not so much worry about how to pronounce it. Thank goodness! All told the ladies behind the counter were very friendly with this group of "Yankees". Their fruits were fresh and delicious and the aqua fresca brought me back to Phoenix. Prices are very reasonable too. We'll be back here again for sure.

This place was good when it opened, their quality isn't the same and they are ripping costumers off. Ordered a mangonada and got half of a tamarindo stick, when you would usually get a full piece of candy. Literally got a cut in half bitten stick! It sounds petty but consistency is key, I expect to get what I pay for
