Wonderful food! We had the crab-stuffed salmon and the Cajun fries, they were delicious. It was an amazing experience! We will most DEFINITELY be back soon!

First time coming here tonight. Staff was wonderful! The chowder, chicken gumbo and crawfish étouffée sampler was delicious. The shrimp and grits were perfect. I definitely would eat here again!! Would’ve had a picture with this review, but the food was so good we didn’t waste time with pictures!

HIDDEN GEM ALERT! This place is amazing! Before I even get to the food I want to say that the staff here is very accommodating and attentive. The atmosphere is great with a simple decor and mood setting music. Now the food. I am a cajun food fan - my family is cajun. I consider myself a cajun food purest with an "its always better in actual New Orleans" mindset. With that said - this place could sit right on Bourbon Street and I would not be mad! All of the food here is top notch from the seasonings to the juicy chicken.I'm writing this review while still eating which is something I never do. The food is hot but I want to burn my mouth. It's that good!

Amazing food. Great music. Excellent service. Diligent in keeping customers safe during this COVID pandemic. I had the Salmon Creole. If you like a little spice then this dish is for you. The salmon was cooked to perfection and the Gouda grits were amazing and a nice edition. My husband had the pork chop that came with breakfast potatoes and eggs. We cleaned our plates to say the least. We will definitely be back. Keep up the great work Mardi Gras.

I read a few Yelp reviews and they were terrible, but the ones in the past month were all 5 stars. Clearly something changed. I went in grabbed a menu, asked a few questions and conferred with the Unknown Food Critic. We decided to take a chance and boy!! we were not disappointed. The waitstaff and ambiance they served up gets 5 stars. Full glass bottles of cold water were brought to our table and after placing our drink order (A nice-sized blueberry lemonade vodka drink - strong & delicious) we were brought 2 of "His Moms homemade biscuits" I'm not sure who he is or his mom, but her biscuits were Fire!! It only got better. The wings came out in a bowl of fragrant sauce. They were piping hot and they stayed hot....no microwaving going on here. When the wings were going I started trying to find things to dip in the remaining sauce. Even the Unknown Food Critic commented on the sauce's flavor and he NEVER does that. Our brunch entrees were the Salmon Creole and the French Toast w/sausage. I am stuffed because I basically ate both! They were both delicious. My salmon was perfectly cooked, the grits were firm, flavorful and creamy. At first I wasn't crazy about seeing big chunks of tomato on the plate, but that sauce with tomatoes not to be confused with tomato sauce was was the glue that brought the dish together. The French toast dish had bananas and a sweet syrup on them that met my sugar and carb fix. This was plated next to a good portion of link sausage, potatoes and peppers. The Unknown Food Critic ate all the meat. We'll be back and we'll keep patronizing black-owed restaurants because while Black Lives Matter we need to also remember that Black businesses matter too and that they are the foundation of a healthy community!

My sisters and I decided to go to brunch. The customer service was on point from the moment we walked through the door. The biscuits were so good I had eaten one before I remembered to take pictures. We ordered Eggs Benedict, Seafood Gumbo, and Seafood Pasta. The staff are wearing masks properly, social distancing, and cleaning constantly.

Great food and great customer service. These people go above and beyond. I am so happy to have actually found a place with good seasoned food.

Amazing phenomenal food that can't be compared elsewhere. It tastes exactly like you're back down south in LA.Even though the fish & oysters combo plate is fried, the catfish is really light, moist, and flakey. Red beans and rice is the perfect amount of savory and has a good hearty flavor. The peach cobbler is a magical blend of spices paired perfectly with the vanilla ice cream. Make sure you eat it with the ice cream otherwise the cobbler will seem like it's missing an element. Things to be aware of. Just wear a mask upon the restaurant and your temp will be taken at the entrance. If you're still reading, the service is awesome.

One of the best Cajun Creole meals I have had. The chicken and sausages gumbo was excellent with the best roux ever. Crawfish etouffee was a home run Locally owned

-Thoughtful service, authentic food, considerate & accommodating during these complicated times for the service industry. The catfish was cooked beautifully; it was fresh & perfectly seasoned. Easily accessible from the interstate if you’re coming from MS like me

Pulled this place up for a change of pace and it was well worth it . The wings were tasty and the sweet potato fries with marshmallows , mmmmmmmm. The entree did not disappoint either, We had the Lafayette crawfish pasta and the bourbon chicken pasta both tasty , the bourbon chicken had a little spicy kick but not much.
