Not a diverse environment. Service was not friendly, stood at the bar to order a drink for at least 10 mins but bartender acted as though they did not see us. But every other person that walked up after was serviced. We were really looking forward to try this place but I’ll spend my money other places I’m welcomed
Did not try the food, but this place is great! Friendly staff and a unique vibe. The drinks are fantastic, and the space features a fun patio in the back that makes you feel like you're in your own tropical oasis.

This is the place for tropical "tiki" drinks. Other places may make the same cocktails, but they pay attention to the ingredients here, and it shows!

The chicken ? egg ? rolls was so good. The mai tai was on point.
I’ve been dying for a real tiki bar in Memphis and we finally have one!
A legit one, with amazing drinks.
I’ve been to tiki bars from coast to coast and this one stands tall, only thing it’s missing is the ocean and as we are in a landlocked state I’ll take it.
I had the mai tai first, that’s the photo, most beautiful mai tai I’ve had. Strong, as they should be, but not overly strong where it lost its tropic flavor.
Inside is nicely decorated, it feels like a tiki bar should. Still comfortable.
Has a nice patio too, good music.
10/10 best bar I seen open in Memphis in years. I hope they stay forever, seriously please don’t leave.

Drinks are a little pricy, but they were amazing. I tried the cobra fang, and you can taste the rum in it (a little strong).
I will absolutely come back again to this place.
The service was great, too.

The bar was quaint and cute. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was calm.
The food was decent, small for individual needs.
My only complaint is parking. You have to park on one of the side streets because there is no parking space as there are businesses on either side of the bar, and the area is extremely compact.

Second time at Mary’s BOTE—do not miss the frozen pina colada. It may seem like low hanging fruit, a pina colada at a tropical bars, but you will love it. The atmosphere is private, not loud. Staff and patrons have all been super kind and welcoming.

Wonderful tiki bar! Some of the best drinks I've had in town. Highly recommend the Mary's Grog and the Monk's Prayer.

I'm a big tiki bar fan, was traveling through town, and stumbled on this place. Fantastic bar! It looks closed from the outside, almost speakeasy like. The staff are amazing, shoutout to Matt with his infectious enthusiasm, and for teaching me the history of tiki bars. The atmosphere is amazing. The drinks are unique and awesome, and so are the tiki mugs. Don't forget to checkout the cool back patio too.
