Max's has a warm and friendly atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The bartenders, Bjarni and Mike, are hands down the best in town - they make sure every visit is memorable. Scott, the cook, works his magic in the kitchen, preparing mouthwatering treats that perfectly complement the libations. It is an ideal spot to catch the game with fellow enthusiasts.

As you can see, we were able to order drinks. Once other patrons came in, we were no longer visible. So, we left and came to an establishment across the street.

Max's is the ultimate small but amazing sports bar. The bartenders know how to handle a packed house and the drinks are nice and affordable. To go with the drinks, I ordered a Turkey Sandwich with Chips and Cheese Sticks. I mean it was outstanding bar food. While Max's probably packs out with 40 folks in there, it is still a great establishment to patronize.

Spent a night in Memphis and stumbled upon Max’s Sports Bar on google. Glad I did! It was a Tuesday night, so not a big crowd, but it defiantly had that down home local bar feel that you don’t find much of these days. Bartender was great and all the local patrons were more than welcoming. Good local draft beer selection and the BBQ nachos are a must. Probably the best I’ve had! Will definitely be back next time my travels bring me to the area.
