Friendly prompt service. Food was delicious. I noticed several young men in the kitchen preparing food. I was à little uncomfortable because it seemed to be a lot of horseplay going on and not enough focus on the orders. My pickle was left off my order and avacado was left off of 2 of our sandwiches. The dining room was kept clean.

I went to this McAlister's for dinner today my husband and I. The store was clean the food was delicious, the service was much better than previous visits. I don't have anything negative to say, other than keep up the good work McAlister's! I will always be a loyal customer, as long as you are in the Memphis area!

I ordered the spud max and it was everything I hope for, I ate my meal on the patio and there were employees smoking on the patio, they were harmless but I don't smoke.
I’m gonna start this review by simply saying that I love McAllisters. I always have. It’s my go to restaurant for several reasons. I use it frequently for my new hire orientation lunch that I provide because it’s just so convenient with their delivery service for catering. However, this particular location in Memphis Tennessee. The Mendenhall location is absolutely the worst restaurant I’ve ever stepped in.You had people claiming to be managers, yelling and screaming at the employees while on the floor in front of customers, yelling such crazy things that anyone of these workers could definitely file a lawsuit and win. IF THEY record it. You have a male employee that’s is preparer of food that stands at the window, and trying poorly to hit on women cat calling, making rude gestures, it was embarrassing to watch it. You had people walking out because of the poorness of the management.A manager said and I quote if you don’t like the heat then leave I don’t work I manage. Mangers here don’t work. End quoteNow with a statement of that nature who in the world would want to work for this person ? YOU had people walking out you had people looking around and making comments of how poorly the store was being managed. why wasI there you asked. Well, I was there to pick up an order that was supposed to be delivered at 11:30 for an orientation. Turns out they forgot about the order even though they claimed the driver was on the way, when I called the first time. when I arrived at the location to determine why our food had not been delivered I was then informed they had forgotten and they just didn’t answer the phone because they knew I would be upset.Wow just wow Memphis do better people we expect better do better be a decent human being, and do the right thing.

If I could rate them 0 stars I would. I placed and online order for take out, and when I got to the restaurant to pick up 1/4th of my meal was completed. The staff informed me that they had "ran out of Chicken" and Could not complete my order which ALL items had chicken in it and only one thing was made with chicken. I was ok with that and was willing to order items without chicken in it as long as I received the difference. The employee proceeded to tell me that would not be able to happen since it was an online order and that could not do anything to help me. I asked for a refund and, I was told to call the number online (which was the store number) since it was an online order and the store could not complete my refund. I eventually asked to speak with the very rude manager Kylan who refused to give me a refund, stating the same excuse. So I held the line up until he agreed to cancel the order for me and process a refund. I then asked for proof since he said that he could not print a receipt or provide a confirmation code, he then told me there is nothing he can do for me and was very rude as well as his staff. The cooking crew was laughing the entire time while multiple customers came in and was turned around because of their lack of customer care and product in store. I will tell everyone how TERRIBLE this McAlister's is and to please save your money and time. The customer service sucks all around I will not be a McAlister's customer anymore not until the staff that is there is removed especially the manager Kylan. 10 out of 10 WILL NOT RECCOMEND

I took out my dinner. The pastrami sandwich was pretty decent. Although the size was not much big, but the quality and the preparation was good. I ordered cucumber and tomato salad as a side. This was terrible. It was not fresh for sure, all the veggies were soggy. I didn’t like it.
