Delicious weeknight meal. Our party had the pork osso bucco. Creole seasoning was nice and the combined flavors of the the grits and greens melded really well. Other dish selections included the fried oysters (yum), goat cheese salad with seasonal peaches instead of pears, and short rib pasta small plate (very good). To drink, Kentucky Belle was perfect. Looking forward to the next time!

Popped in here for lunch and immediately knew I’d try the Friday catfish lunch special. I love a restaurant that’s flexible on changing up the sides, and McEwen’s doesn’t charge extra for it. The cornmeal fried catfish was extremely delicious! The server is sweet and extremely helpful in giving me the tartar sauce to go. I will definitely come back just to have it again.

Really glad we found this place to have dinner on our 1 night in Memphis. Everything we got was really tasty and flavorful. We started with a special of fried green tomatoes with a crab slaw on top. Then both tried one of the salads. We both really like The goat cheese and peach, but the other one we got was good as well. For mains, we did the 2 steak dishes. Since we live near the coast, getting fish didn't make sense. Again, we were both happy. The only tiny downside was the biscuits. Kinda bummed they came out with dinner vs with the salads & app. Also wanted them to come with just a tiny bit of butter (or honey). Good cocktails and service as well. Would definitely go back!!

Visited here for a friend's surprise birthday party. The ambiance was nice and the greeter and servers were welcoming. This place has an extensive drink menu for both their alcohol and wine selections. I had a Macallan 12 with a medium rare ribeye while my wife had a Pinot Noir with a trust me vegetarian plate. My ribeye was okay but the sides were excellent. My wife loved her vegetarian plate. Overall for serving a party of over 20 it was a great experience.

I sat at bar on a Wednesday at 5:30 pm. I think there was only 1 couple there. Then a large group showed up, and the volume increased significantly. Service from bartender was excellent. Had the sea bass. It was also excellent. Also had their famous banana cream pie. It was just ok. Not one of the better ones I've had. I would definitely return for the delicious menu.

I went two nights in a row because not only was the food some of the best flavor I've ever tasted (veggie plate) and the cocktail delicious, but I had just the best conversation with the owner John and kind bartender. I went alone the first night and had to bring friends the next. The bartender and owner remembered me and said hello. Highly recommend!
