Great service, excellent food, and real nice setting. We sat at a bar top and enjoyed our experience.

We have had lunch here several times but this was the first time we've had dinner. It was a great experience. Food was terrific, service was great!

We had an amazing meal Saturday night at McEwen's on Monroe. Everything was good, most of it was delicious. The most outstanding part was Haley, our server. She was very knowledgeable about the menu, and she went out of her way to accommodate our special requests. The Sea Bass, Halibut and Salmon were all outstanding. They also did a great job of getting us fed in time for the theatre. If you're in Memphis, don't miss it! And ask for Haley. She is awesome!

The food and service are outstanding. The hardest part was deciding what to order - it's all delicious.

The food was absolutely fabulous. We had the specials (soup and fish) and they were perfectly prepared and delish! Our server was very cheerful and helpful and there were multiple people taking care of us, so we never had to ask for a thing. The manager was walking around checking on guests, which was nice to see. The ambiance was very warm and inviting. It was a work trip for me, so I didn't pay much attention to the cost, but it was definitely on the pricey side, but well worth it. I couldn't finish my meal, it was so large. Highly recommend!

We had the Mahi Mahi special and the Mahi Mahi with the red fish set up and they were so Delicious!!! We keep talking about it and actually cancelled our Friday night reservation at another restaurant to go back to McEwens on Friday before we leave.

First time, we ordered some appetizer, a salad and a small platte. Everything tasted great, was prepared well and service and speed was excellent. I even asked for a cocktail called an Aviation which most bar tenders don't know how to make or don't have the correct ingredients and the bartender was able to make it straight away. Great job overall, I'll be back.

Service was great, food was even better. I almost always get the trust me vegetarian plate and it did not disappoint. My husband loves the top notch whiskey and bourbon selection. It's probably the best selection in Memphis.

Great service and a wonderful meal! Definitely recommend, one of the best experiences in Memphis.

The food was all delicious but served lukewarm. Our server as well as the bar tender were wonderful.

Outstanding Southern food. The fried green tomatoes were crispy. Highly recommend the sweet potato crusted catfish. A great place to go when in Memphis.

Mcewen's used to be one of the go to places for an elegant meal in downtown Memphis. I have been there many times for business and pleasure. Recently, including last night, I have not enjoyed the experience as I had in the past. While the service and atmosphere are still good, as usual, the food has declined. Last night my fried oyster appetizer was hot and good; however, the wedge salad was tasteless and subpar. How does one mess up a wedge salad? My sea bass entry was warm, not hot. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend McEwen's. For the money, there are better options in downtown Memphis.

Delicious weeknight meal. Our party had the pork osso bucco. Creole seasoning was nice and the combined flavors of the the grits and greens melded really well. Other dish selections included the fried oysters (yum), goat cheese salad with seasonal peaches instead of pears, and short rib pasta small plate (very good). To drink, Kentucky Belle was perfect. Looking forward to the next time!
