Delicious weeknight meal. Our party had the pork osso bucco. Creole seasoning was nice and the combined flavors of the the grits and greens melded really well. Other dish selections included the fried oysters (yum), goat cheese salad with seasonal peaches instead of pears, and short rib pasta small plate (very good). To drink, Kentucky Belle was perfect. Looking forward to the next time!
Popped in here for lunch and immediately knew I’d try the Friday catfish lunch special. I love a restaurant that’s flexible on changing up the sides, and McEwen’s doesn’t charge extra for it. The cornmeal fried catfish was extremely delicious! The server is sweet and extremely helpful in giving me the tartar sauce to go. I will definitely come back just to have it again.
Really glad we found this place to have dinner on our 1 night in Memphis. Everything we got was really tasty and flavorful. We started with a special of fried green tomatoes with a crab slaw on top. Then both tried one of the salads. We both really like The goat cheese and peach, but the other one we got was good as well. For mains, we did the 2 steak dishes.
