Everything was completely awful... chicken was cooked in old grease. The veggies were canned and not seasoned at all. The mac and cheese was very oily and smelled spoiled ....i also did not get my cornbread. I would never eat here again...

I visited meals for you several times when they first opened. Excellent service and food. I encouraged others to go. Unfortunately after my last visit I was very disappointed. The food was bland and the customer service was a 5 out of a 10 rating 🥲 I have a problem understanding why our people ( African Americans) start off at 100. Then leave up to someone else to run your business without the same passion. After we feel we have arrived. They will NOT!! Please go back to the beginning. I would love to continue to support Meals for You. But after my last visit Umm?

IT'S A YES FOR ME.
So, to make it simple, food is nasty and was not worth the wait… I called in my order an HOUR before pick up and when I got there to pick up at the time the guy told me to pick up over the phone, I had to wait ANOTHER 30 minutes for some undercooked, rubbery chicken.. How do you mess up chicken at a soul food kitchen, or YAMS?! The yams and greens were trash too.. All the way down to the nasty dessert, I never had nasty peach cobbler until this place, tasted like she added steak gravy to it or something.. Just a waste of money and time, never returning.. I almost came back to tell whoever that lady was in the back with locs to go find something else to do cause COOKING ain’t it ma’am🤮

Called in to order my food. Came to pick up food & food was ready. I ordered a soda with my food. Front desk guy was going to let me leave without giving me my soda. Secondly, I kept the food on a level surface as instructed to keep the plates still. However, packaging was horrible and not separated. Food was so weighty that the packaging broke up, & due to so much juice in the food, the bags filled with juice and left over plates were soaked. Also got part of my order wrong. Last time I’ll order from here ?

We love this place. The food is always good fresh. They have the best fried chicken. Taste like it's been fried in an old cast iron. Great selection of Asian food also. Love the mie fun noodles. Great selection of dessets. If you leave here hungry it's your own fault.
