I visited meals for you several times when they first opened. Excellent service and food. I encouraged others to go. Unfortunately after my last visit I was very disappointed. The food was bland and the customer service was a 5 out of a 10 rating 🥲 I have a problem understanding why our people ( African Americans) start off at 100. Then leave up to someone else to run your business without the same passion. After we feel we have arrived. They will NOT!! Please go back to the beginning. I would love to continue to support Meals for You. But after my last visit Umm?

I personal wanted to do a review BECAUSE I LOVE GOODT FOOD IN WHEN I SAY THIS BLACK OWNED RESTAURANT IS DEFINITELY GOING TO SEE ME DAILY/WEEKLY I LOVE THE FRESH TASTE THE PORTIONS OF FOOD THE SERVICE WAS WELCOMING AND FRIENDLY HE WASNT TRYING TO OVER SELL IT BUT HE DID RECOMMEND THAT GOOOOOOOOD OLE SCHOOL FLAVOR PEACH COBBLER IT WAS HOT FRESH OUT THE OVEN THE SALAD HAD EVERYTHING I WANTED THE CHICKEN AND SHRIMP ALFREDO GARLIC BREAD AND RASPBERRY DRESSING. IT'S A YES FOR ME.

So, to make it simple, food is nasty and was not worth the wait… I called in my order an HOUR before pick up and when I got there to pick up at the time the guy told me to pick up over the phone, I had to wait ANOTHER 30 minutes for some undercooked, rubbery chicken.. How do you mess up chicken at a soul food kitchen, or YAMS?! The yams and greens were trash too.. All the way down to the nasty dessert, I never had nasty peach cobbler until this place, tasted like she added steak gravy to it or something.. Just a waste of money and time, never returning.. I almost came back to tell whoever that lady was in the back with locs to go find something else to do cause COOKING ain’t it ma’am🤮

Called in to order my food. Came to pick up food & food was ready. I ordered a soda with my food. Front desk guy was going to let me leave without giving me my soda. Secondly, I kept the food on a level surface as instructed to keep the plates still. However, packaging was horrible and not separated. Food was so weighty that the packaging broke up, & due to so much juice in the food, the bags filled with juice and left over plates were soaked. Also got part of my order wrong. Last time I’ll order from here ?

We love this place. The food is always good fresh. They have the best fried chicken. Taste like it's been fried in an old cast iron. Great selection of Asian food also. Love the mie fun noodles. Great selection of dessets. If you leave here hungry it's your own fault.

My husband and I came to Memphis on business. We stopped at this place our food was prepared fresh and everything was delightful. The signature juice was amazing !
Yesterday I had fried chicken (dark meat), yams, Mac n cheese, and cornbread. The fried chicken was really good. The yams were okay and the mac and cheese I would not recommend. I’d come back for the fried chicken and to try other foods. I want to try the pasta

First off when I got there I didn’t realize it was just one guy in there working he greeted me with such great customer service I ordered the catfish basket with seasoned fries everything was so amazing the fish wasn’t salty everything was perfectly seasoned. I also bought a chicken pasta with chef choice for my husband the pasta was very loaded with onions, bell peppers, and he even gave me bacon on the side. Last but not least I didn’t tell my husband but I ordered a strawberry banana pudding keep in mind I really don’t like banana pudding because now days people don’t know to really make it but let me tell you something honey this strawberry banana pudding was so good I wish I ordered another one. I think I found me a new favorite spot in Memphis

On January 21,2024 I called to place an order for some smoked wings. The Lady answered and I said good morning. She replied “Hey”Very dry with lack of interest. I gave Her the arrival time which was 1 hour 1/2 later the time in which She stated the wings would be ready.Upon arriving at the counter. She came and displayed lack of interest in Me as a paying customer. She didn’t say one moment nor Ma’am I interests You in something else from the menu, due to the wings not being completely ready. But Yet She served Me 12 half cooked smoked wings with a frown. Nor did She say thank You have a nice day nor come back, even in knowing what She was doing.For this to be in a high traffic area and to be this type of businessThat was HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service, attitude and food.I know that I’m not the only customer nor what I spend will neither make nor break them but They/ She should treat and greet every Customer as if they just Their business in the Fortune 500 business. Make them feel welcome and anxious for the next visit or meal.
