Recent Reviews

I visited (from out of town) for the first time this past weekend to participate in one of their tournaments. I was struck by how comfortable and aesthetic the cafe area is to hangout, work, read, anything - it's a really great space. As a big chess fan, it was a plus that they have a deep collection of chess books, tables you could play at, and even had chess entertainment (including broadcasts of our games!) on the TVs as well.

LOVE this place. Great vibes, really cozy. Food is decent. I got a salad and the egg was slightly overcooked but it was still good. Overall I will be coming back for the aesthetic. Unfortunately I am rating it only 4 stars due to the lack of bike parking, yet if you drive and park at the garage then you get a discount, so the transportation incentives here are a bit regressive.

Edit: Bring your bike inside to the courtyard, or lock it to the street meters if...

The atmosphere is so peaceful here. There's a plethora of games to play, food to eat, and furniture to relax. I've been here for date nights with my husband, and we brought our children here for a simple day out. Family friendly, student friendly, couple friendly, etc.
