I ordered carne asada tacos and they were delicious. Warning, there salsa verde, is very spicy; therefore use sparingly, unless you enjoy salsa Picosa 🥵

The lengue (beef tongue) tacos were so good and tender. First timer but not a last timer. I also a small bowl of fish and shrimp soup that look like a large bowl. Had to bring it home. I keep trying new things here and haven’t been disappointed. The two servers are always nice as well.

I used to go here for lunch several times a week and would always get the tacos or enchiladas.
Theres a various assortment of protein to choose from (ck, shredded ck, steak, barbacoa, carnitas, lengua) and the tacos are served in a flour or corn tortilla with onions and cilantro. They also have an option of red or green salsa for the tacos.
The enchiladas have the same meat selection and are served with red or green sauce. I always went with red. If you like spice, they can make the red sauce spicier. I usually went with spicy red sauce, but they asked me if I wanted it even spicier one time. I went for it and it was HOT. But still had great flavor even though I was beet red and sweating from it.
Their lunch options are affordable and come with beans and rice and they serve you a small basket of chips and salsa if you dine in.
The servers are always quick and polite.
Very consistent food and service and probably the best Mexican spot in Memphis.
I am from Los Angeles, CA. I have been in Memphis for 2.5 yrs and I have been looking for REAL Mexican food- not tht TexMex or BBQ sauce on it Mexican food...This is SO good I could cry! Lol THANK YOU??
