Do not come here. This place closed during the pandemic and never reopened. They have not updated their website to show that they are closed. We visited Memphis and stayed next door to this place because we heard it was a place worth seeing but we were very disappointed to find out that they were closed.

It’s back! Reopening Friday 12/30!
They are a unique little lounge. The idea is little areas of seating with cocktail tables. The problem is that they are not designed to be finger foods so you have whole wings that are hard to maneuver on your lap with a knife and fork. The server doesn't write anything down so ended up forgetting our order. Drinks were good. Ambiance is cool.
I would like to compliment the chef, the food was good! I didn't recognize or find the area on open table or your site that stated that I had to specify an area with a table. This was my first time at Mollie's. So if there is a place on the site to select or specify table seating, I would appreciate your help. Thanks. Our server was okay. He did answer our questions. The music and the ambiance was great! I did not care much for your manager or maitre'd. There was some question as to whether I was aware I was there to be served!?
The restaurant itself was okay. I book often through opentable so I guess I was expecting a little more from this restaurant such as a table. My date and I ordered several different drinks, and they tasted watered down. The food was mediocre. I hope this helps.
First trip to Memphis. Booked the reservation 60 days ahead because it was recommended as interesting venue with “dinner and a show”. Apparently the “show” has been discontinued so what we really experienced was bad bar food, noisy Halloween decor and crowd, basically nothing redeeming. You would think if folks reserved expecting a show that is not going to happen the management might reach out with a heads up. Of all the options to experience Memphis this dinner event is the only element I wish I planned better. Won't be recommending to anyone.
Frenchie and Vanessa were fun, helpful and professional. They made you feel extremely welcome. They had a band (the Shieks) that night and it was great - playing every Thursday in October. A must see. Downstairs environment was terrific - they explained the history of the house on Millionaires Row, who owned it now and how it had been transformed into a Lounge. Upstairs was a different vibe - we asked the bartender about the pictures on the wall - who were they and with a surly attitude was asked how she should know - all she did is serve drinks (a profession that requires an understanding of customer service) - something she obviously knew nothing about. And the gentleman serving up there must have been from the same club because he was unhelpful, disinterested and somewhat rude. So by all means go there - the food is good, drinks well crafted - but only spend time downstairs - vibe and people are awesome.
Overall a nice experience once I shifted my mindset to the eclectic nature of the dining experience. Wish the hostess/waitress would have asked at the onset if it were our first time there, which it was, just to give us a set up of expectation. We were surprised to learn their was no traditional dining tables when she sat us down in LR chairs. It's definitely more of a bar experience and the place looked better as the sun went down. But food was tasty and so were the drinks.
Good food. Best Mac and cheese I've ever had. Great selection of food, tapas style. Victorian home and seating was really neat. BTW, seating is Victorian style as well and not your typical chair and table set up...great for socializing. Would def go back. Perfect spot just outside downtown area

The furniture was uncomfortable and things looked unkept and i wasn't sure if things were actually clean due to that...like the paint and plaster and the broken down furniture. It is a neat concept and with some tweaks would be super cool. The restroom was very clean and the service was good! The truffle fries were very yummy!
The food was very good and the menu unique and fun. It was a bit hard to eat because it is set up like a sitting room with just a small end table for each pair of diners. Also we were sitting in low easy chairs. We did get a 2nd small table to give us more room. However it's worth the visit for the food & ambiance. A host of flavors and a very unique menu. The service was excellent also.
We mainly went for a specialty drink, (it is a lounge), and were very disappointed with the drink quality. When I asked my wife if she wanted another, she answered "only if they actually put Jack Daniels in the next one! Food was good and our server did a nice job.
Lauded in certain circles for its drinks and music scene (think hip jazz piano bar), this place is truly a hidden gem in the Memphis dining scene. Food was excellent and the service was outstanding, even on a night when they were obviously short-staffed. All that in a unique and very comfortable setting. Perhaps the best part was that it was quiet enough that our party could talk with one another without shouting. You don't find that often these days.
The perfect place to have an intimate evening or a group of friends. Friendly staff, interesting food well-prepared, good drinks, pleasant music not so loud you can't talk, comfortable seating, fantastic ambiance.
