The restaurant itself was okay. I book often through opentable so I guess I was expecting a little more from this restaurant such as a table. My date and I ordered several different drinks, and they tasted watered down. The food was mediocre. I hope this helps.
Frenchie and Vanessa were fun, helpful and professional. They made you feel extremely welcome. They had a band (the Shieks) that night and it was great - playing every Thursday in October. A must see. Downstairs environment was terrific - they explained the history of the house on Millionaires Row, who owned it now and how it had been transformed into a Lounge. Upstairs was a different vibe - we asked the bartender about the pictures on the wall - who were they and with a surly...
Overall a nice experience once I shifted my mindset to the eclectic nature of the dining experience. Wish the hostess/waitress would have asked at the onset if it were our first time there, which it was, just to give us a set up of expectation. We were surprised to learn their was no traditional dining tables when she sat us down in LR chairs. It's definitely more of a bar experience and the place looked better as the sun went down. But food was tasty and so were the drinks.
