I remembered Mortimer’s as an upscale venue that I had visited only once. Thought it would be special for my wife’s birthday. It, unfortunately, wasn’t. Everyone complained about cold food. I’m normally the least picky, but the chicken Beauregard was advertised to contain mushrooms, shrimp, and crawfish, yet didn’t seem to. I would have complained, but I was hoping to discover some items under the cheese. Also, it was agreed that the green beans were vinegary. After the table complained, management supplied a 20% discount. I hate situations like that because I never expect a handout. But I knew we deserved a break this time. I surely, though, was expecting better.
Positives: The seating was comfortable, including for my wife in a wheelchair. The bread and chips and dip were good. For me, so was the soup. And the server was kind and efficient.

Waitress was so sweet and wonderful, the steak was good just a little overcooked(ordered rare lol gotta order blue rare if you want rare) it wasn't bad, it's super basic American but if that's what it going for go for it.
