Mortimer’s is like home away from home! I’m always happy with my food and my service! I love the history that’s in the restaurant. Truly a gem of Memphis! And the entertainment is amazing! ?
Please tell your servers to observe the table for need(s). Please don't interrupt the table conversation only to ask "How is everything?" "Do you need more water?" Simply observe the table, make eye contact, and walk slowly by. If a customer needs something, they will ask you, and you can avoid possibly upsetting the table conversation.
Love the cozy, classic atmosphere of Mortimer’s. This is a longtime Memphis restaurant, and the clientele reflects its established reputation (overwhelmingly older). Great service, but the food was a bit lackluster. None of our meals were executed really well. Oysters Rockefeller burger would’ve been good had the burger not been cooked terribly unevenly. Beef was not really seasoned. Mahi mahi entree was tasty and cooked well but the crawfish in the cream sauce on top were...
