As a chicagoan for the better part of 50 years. Mr rustys is the best thing to a Chicago Italian beef sandwich in Memphis. They just need to offer mozzarella cheese as an cheese option. New review. 10/13/2025 sandwich has gotten to small. An Italian beef sandwich should be full of beef, this sandwich was lacking beef at the last bite. All bread. It's a shame that he will lost a customer over being cheap with meat. Raise the price if necessary but return to an honest Chicago...
I live in Nashville, but have family in Chicago and Memphis and italian beefs are by far my fav thing in the world to eat. Anytime I travel to Memphis I make sure to stop by here. I always feel welcomed, it’s always clean, and the food is ALWAYS amazing. 10/10 recommend.
