The food was so delicious, flavorful. We were recommended my a friend! We asked for our food extra spicy and got that exactly! 10/10! We ordered drunken noodles with/tofu also orange chicken. Highly recommend this place!!

Rice tasted overcooked, shrimp gummy and gross. Will never order again, let me down twice.

Mulan Asian Bistro - Young Ave
Brief Review... 1st time here...
BEST thing about Mulan Asian Bistro was our server... August.
He was attentive and eager to please. I didn't mind the automatic 20% tip that was added to the bill. They warn you about this by a note posted at the entrance. I upped the ante a little because he earned it.
MIDDLE GROUND -- the entrée.
After reviewing the extensive menu, I ended up ordering my usual General Tso's Chicken... you get the choice of white rice, brown rice or chicken fried rice.. (not just fried rice, but CHICKEN fried rice)
As you can see from the pic below, the presentation was lovely, but the main protein was just average.
WORST -- the 'chicken' fried rice, it was just inedible....
There was no chicken in their chicken fried rice. We took great pains to try to find any chicken in either bowl that was offered and
it just tasted 'off'... Neither Wendy nor I were able to identify the taste/ingredient that was throwing it into the inedible category.
Ending on a happier note: their sweet tea was delicious.

I walked in 20 minutes before closing and asked if I could order takeout and was told I could, I asked for combination lo mein and asked for the meat and vegetables to be finely chopped because I have a lap band and having it that way helps with digesting my food. Upon receiving it, the vegetables and meat were finally chopped as asked, took a couple of bites out of it, and the noodles were mushy to me. I attempted calling back however the store was closed as the manager had locked the door behind me and another Pate room as we were leaving. I called this afternoon to explain what happened and ask them. Could I come in and exchange it because I did not eat the food and I kept the food for a combination. Fried rice was told. Yes, got off work. This evening came in spoke to manager. The manager was very rude. Was very hesitant about doing it and at one point I said well it seems as if you don’t want to do it and he said “I don’t“ so then I said, how do you plan to make this right? He then said you’re coming in here a day later and asking for a refund I said no sir I’m not asking for a refund I’m asking for you to make it right but instead of doing it with The noodles, I’d rather do it with the rice. He seemed again very bothered stormed off and customer service was just completely rude. This was my second time coming into the store and definitely will be my last.

Food was just okay, especially for how much we spent.

Would give zero stars if I could. We entered an empty restaurant on a Saturday night and sat at the bar. Upon arrival, bar staff was friendly and attentive. Monica (who I assume was the manager) came out shortly after we arrived and asked us to leave because one of our guests was sitting on a spinning barstool that was comically squeaky. She was SO rude and unprofessional. The bar staff was apologetic and embarrassed. In a city where there are tons of options, AVOID THIS ONE.

Went in for drinks and appetizers at the bar. Started out great. But then…

Last nite I placed a to go order ...spent 42$.
I get home I've got Egg Drop soup instead of the Wonton soup I ordered, the Crab & Cream Cheese Rangoon was dry and chewy around the edges AND the Shrimp Rolls were fried in dirty grease that and chewy...the ends of the rolls were actually BURNED and no flavor except dirty grease...I cut one of the rolls open; there was one piece of shrimp (that I am sure was cut from a whole shrimp) and a sliver of onion.
Needless to say I won't be returning.
I drove there and was not going to waste more of my money driving back.
