A truly Memphis experience. Great hibachi, sushi, and cocktails. Make reservations, and hope that your chef is “magic” Mike who, along with the place itself, has been around for decades. Some staff can be unfriendly, but if you persevere and keep an open mind, you’re in for a good time.

I went for the first time in it’s my family last night. Both the service and food were AWESOME.We arrived when the restaurant first opened at 5pm on a weekday, and got a hibachi table immediately with some of the other guests. The staff were very nice, and the food tasted good. Our chef just absolutely *made* the experience. I grew up in Memphis, TN, and I can’t believe that I’m only learning about this place now. We enjoyed everything, and we definitely plan to return ??Footnote: we tried the egg rolls as an appetizer, and they were a pleasant surprise for us. They’re sausage-meat based, and very tasty; my family liked the sauce that goes with them.Overall, just a good experience!

Restaurant was darker than expected and the staff did their jobs but there was not any service with a smile and they staff would perform with minimal interaction and robotic disconnect with customers.Bathrooms were VERY dirt with piss all over floor at urinals, entire floor was sticky ?.Steak & lobster was too chewy, rice was under cooked.No flaming volcano, cook would have minimal interaction with customers and the attitude from all staff was that they were just going through the motions to get a pay check.Plenty of hibachi Restaurant around, you can SKIP this one and not miss out on anything that would resemble an enjoyable experience.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access and spacious to navigate around restaurant, different hight tables available

Attempting to take several of my employees to dinner this evening and upon entering the restaurant we were informed “you don’t have a reservation and we have nothing for you.” The man who greeted us was not only rude but had the nerve to follow up and say they were very busy. With less than 10 people inside the business. Thankfully Atan a few minutes away provided my group with a great experience. My first visit to Nagasaki will be my last. ?

Make sure you have a reservation or they won't put much effort into serving you (or finding you a table). They have no web presence so you can only learn this via word of mouth. They start taking reservations at 3pm for the 5pm open time. Wish we could have tried it, but didn't know about need a reservation and end up going to a restaurant that we knew and wanted to serve us.
Our favorite place to eat.... Moved over 2 hours away from Memphis but when we are in town close to 5 PM we make it a point to eat here. This has always been our 'go to' place for special occasions.

Would have like to try it for our once a week Habachi take out. They said they do not do takeout, so just went to the best habachi in town...SHOGUN in Cordova! Would have been nice to have closer option. Drove by on my way to Shogun and no cars in the parking lot, seemed like they would have wanted the order.

This place will always hold a special place to me. I will always remember going here when I was a child. Hibachi is such a fun dinner night with the kiddos in toe. The children's menu is still under ten dollars for chicken and steak. Mind blown. I have always ordered the teriyaki chicken so tradition dictated the same tonight. We laughed and enjoyed the chef and the food. Worth the trip and the money.PS. This was the children's first visit to a hibachi tonight. They were pumped and already eager to go back.
