Five of us dined in The Wine Cellar to celebrate Friendsgiving. Laurie Ann is an excellent server: solicitous without being intrusive, friendly, efficient, and altogether professional. All of the food, from the appetizers through the desserts, was superb. Entrees included salmon, halibut, and meatloaf. All of us are long-time Napa Cafe diners, and we will continue to be.

This place is a gem. We were there on a Saturday evening. There was live music--loud enough to hear and enjoy but not too loud to distract from conversation at our table. The service was great. Our waiter was informative and very helpful in ordering wine and drinks. The food was amazing. For the level of food and service, this restaurant is a moderately priced gem!

There are many reasons to dine at Napa Cafe Memphis: impeccable service, crisp white table linens, highest quality food, huge wine list, interesting craft cocktails, and absolute consistency. However, this evening, the Signature Meatloaf special and the Coconut Cream Cake were the reasons! My husband has tried all the entrees (short ribs, pork chop, filet mignon, roasted chicken), and I usually go for one of the seafood options. Tonight, we changed things up a bit: he had the meatloaf, and I had the ribs, which were more like a tender, fall-apart pot roast. He began with the Thai Steak appetizer, and I had my staple Wedge Salad, which again was exactly as I expected. The Coconut Cream Cake was very moist (and tall), and the plate had been drizzled with a tasty mango puree. In 24 years, we have never been disappointed by Napa Cafe. Dining there is absolutely worth the effort.

It could be romantic but we were with another couple so although cozy and romantic, it was enjoyable. We loved the sax player! The wine list was stellar.
