Had a mother-daughter date night, dinner then Orpheum show. We were greeted warmly, our server was so attentive and personable. Our food was presented beautifully and was delicious!
Overall, excellent dining experience . We, inadvertently , made a reservation at bar. They, graciously, changed to table.
My husband & I had dinner at Napa Cafe Saturday night & what a wonderful experience! From the moment we walked in we felt so welcome. Our waitress was just precious! She need everything about the menu. Glenda, the owner was great also. Steaks were cooked to perfection! We can't wait to return to our new favorite place.
My wife and I went here to celebrate her birthday. The restaurant is lovely and staff was extremely nice. Great ambiance for a date night. Dimmed lighting and cozy décor. We started with drinks. She had the Lemondrop which she loved and I had one of the best Old Fashioned made with pecan liquor. The bourbon and pecan were great together, had to get another. The specials sounded great but we came for the seafood entrees. She had the Halibut and I had the Sea Bass. Both fantastic and the fish was perfectly cooked, but I think the Halibut took the cake. If you order it, save some of the rosemary focaccia they serve to soak up the burre blanc. We finished strong with dessert. The pecan ice cream cake was sinfully good. Thank you to our server for asking if we wanted to split it. We intended to have one each but it is a very large portion. We had a lovely evening there are will be back again.
We had a great evening celebrating my husband's birthday. Food and service were both excellent. Jan provided impeccable service!
A great Gem in East Memphis!! Service was impeccable and the food was too! We will be back soon...
As always the food and the service are just outstanding! Watching Glenda walking around and interfacing with her team as well as her guests provides you with the understanding as to how they attain this consistent quality!
One of our favorite places in Memphis. It was a birthday dinner for my wife and she asked for a deviation to the Halibut. They did and it was very good. Thank you
One of the best experiences we have had in a while! They created a personalized menu with my husband's name on it for his birthday. The staff was so nice and warm. The food was wonderful. Loved the scallops. Everything was great! Highly recommend.
Hubby and I went for my birthday! From the moment we walked in everyone was so kind like they were really glad we came. They printed my name on the menu as well. We ordered the blackened shrimp dumplings as appetizer, and it was delicious. Also, had the wedge salad and broccoli soup which was great. Main entrees were the sea bass and the beef tenderloin meatloaf dish that was one of the specials that day. The portion size was huge, and I had to bring half of it home as I was full from the other dishes. We drank a pomegranate margarita and the pecan old fashioned and both were very good. Our server, Nick, was excellent and very well versed on the menu selections. Other staff made sure our glasses of water were never empty. There was a nice size crowd for mid week but our food was served very timely. The owner came over to check on us which I thought was so cool! The ambience is very intimate but you feel free to have conversation without disrupting anybody else's dinner. We will definitely return in the future and I highly recommend. Pricing is along the lines of most fine dining establishments. We spent a little less than $200 including 20% tip but we had drinks, appetizer, soup, salad and entree. The quality of all was great and you won't leave disappointed!

We have not been to the Napa Cafe for some time. What a wonderful reunion experience. We will add this eatery to our regular list and visit often. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Napa is my new favorite restaurant in Memphis. The food is incredible. Honestly, their selection is upscale and every dish is not only delicious, but the presentation on the plates are beautiful. Glenda, the owner, is hands on - and her staff is impeccably trained. This is a big restaurant, it they have a lot of rooms that enable you to have peace and quiet. Napa is #1 in Memphis. It is not on the tourist areas - so it may not pop up on various internet lists. If you line eating where the locals eat - this is it in Memphis.
Food, atmosphere and service were EXCELLENT. Glenda puts her heart and soul into Napa Cafe and it shows!
Our very favorite restaurant in Memphis, hands down! Food, service, and staff are all incredible!
The service and atmosphere were amazing. Most people ordered the filet and it was under cooked. I ordered the crab cakes and they were amazing. It was really beautiful and we will definitely go back.
