Service was horrible and slow. We sat and waited for an hour for a table, then sat at the grill for another 30 mins i guess waiting on it to fill. The food was horrible. The waiter hates his job and it shows. The lady that was greeting was horrible as well and very rude. I will never ever ever come back here and i can’t wait until i remember who recommended this place so i can chew them out as well

This is the worst sushi place to go to in Memphis. I called in my order and she told me it would be 15-20 minutes and I ended up waiting 45 to get TWO sushi rolls. One lady walked in and didn’t have a mask and the hostess told her that a mask wasn’t required...IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC?! Staff was very unprofessional and lacks urgency when waiting on customers. Won’t be coming back. Ever.

Long wait to be seated. Did Not take reservations. But..... once seated the service was great and so was our food. Our waiter was Wynston, who was courteous, friendly, and on point with his refills and checking on us. We had a great time.

Would be 4 stars but for dine in they automatically add 15% tip and our waiter could not even describe items under the appetizer menu better yet special dishes and when I ordered was not as expected. He was nice could have been more informed which would have bettered my experience.

I love Osaka but they really did make me wait an extra 40 minutes for some chicken fried rice. THE MOST SIMPLE THING ON THE MENU. They have me starving out here.

I would like to start by saying I use to be a regular at Osaka. I would pick up every Sunday and dine in every Sunday on occasion. Last year is when I noticed it started going downhill. It got to a point where my friends and I would have to call SEVEN times just to get through to someone. When I complained about this to one of my friends, she laughed and said "that's nothing I once had to call FIFTEEN TIMES for them to answer". Unacceptable. Well fast forward to this past Sunday. We arrive at 6:15pm. We are told maybe a 15-20 min wait. We said okay and sat down. After 55 minutes of waiting we were finally seated. Our waitress quickly met us at the table at got our drink order and dropped them off. Then another 20 minutes go by until she gets back to our table. We then realize she is the ONLY waitress handling 7+ tables. Next waiting for checks took another 30 min ordeal. The whole night was slow which was not the waitresses fault. When it was all said and done we were at Osaka for 3 HOURS!!

Japanese food and the feeling here is very good. The food was so savory. The staff was sociable and attentive. It has a nice feel to it.
The food is delicious and the atmosphere is very comfortable. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is always clean and the food is always amazing. Their fried rice is delicious and the steak and chicken are always cooked perfectly.

If I could I would give zero stars. Was told it would be a 30 min wait... ended up being an hour wait where we could see many available tables open. Hostess was not consistent with what she was saying. She also told us the server she wanted to give us was too busy for us so we had to wait another 15 min.
