I’ve kept these thoughts to myself but recently have discussed this with friends who have had the same bad experiences with the owner Karen, so I must say something. I’ve been coming to this coffee shop for years, however I cannot bring myself to support them any longer and the main reason is the owner. I’ve had several interactions with her over the last few years and all of them have been severely unpleasant. It is unfortunate that after coming to this shop for almost 5 years that I still have yet to have a good experience with her. She is rude and condescending, not once have I seen her show respect to her customers or staff. The rest of the staff is always kind, however she always makes me feel unwelcome and always makes me regret spending my money there!

Mediocre drinks and service. I like the open space…
Good coffee shop with a lot of space and a good energy, plus a large back patio space. Food is fine and the service is good.

Coffee was good, and have vegan muffins. Like the vibe also.
This is a cute artsy cafe with good coffee. It is self-service but we didn’t mind that. People come here to hang out with friends, have breakfast or work on their computer. The food is quite expensive but it tastes good. We had bagels and coffee.

First coffee shop of the morning we visited in Memphis and it may end up being the last. An institution for the neighborhood since the 1990’s its very lived in in a good way. Multiple rooms , mixed demographics, leans left. Art for sale, art for view. Parking lot, plenty of outlets

We were visiting from Florida and Otherlands treated us like family every morning as we walked our Frenchie Charleigh to Overton Park and wanted to warm up with a hot cafe. Their seasonal coconut macaroon latte is so amazing and also loved their chai tea latte! Love the staff, love the yummy coffees and love the patrons who are also super sweet.
Great place but they updated the prices and need to change the menu to reflect that
They have the best iced coffee!

My experience with the staff here was awful. The coffee could be much better too, especially if they’re going to be as rude as they are. I don’t know how anyone could ever comfortably come here to just hang out, study, any of the sort. It is sad that so many places are so rude nowadays.

Freshly roasted beans hit you as soon as you open the door. Love that.
