A friend of mine introduced me to this cozy little Mexican bakery for some end-of-day flan cravings — and what a find! It was late on a weekend, so they were just about to wrap up, but the place still had a lot going on.

The bakery section is massive and feels like a classic Hispanic panadería — rows of treats behind glass, with trays and tongs for self-service. Super simple, super nostalgic. Nothing fancy like a French patisserie — just honest, rustic, home-style baked goods.

I went wild picking out a variety of items (don’t ask me the names — I just pointed at what looked good). Everything was super affordable and had that authentic, down-to-earth flavor. Definitely not Instagram-obsessed desserts — more like comfort food straight from someone’s kitchen.

The highlight, of course, was the flan. I grabbed two kinds — one classic and one with a brownie base — and both were rich, smooth, and fresh. Total win.

They also have a taqueria-style food counter and some grocery items — like a mini Mexican market — but the hot food section was closed by the time we got there. I’m definitely going back to try the tacos and explore more.

Overall: not fancy, but flavorful. If you’re into warm, nostalgic bakery vibes and real-deal flan, this spot’s worth checking out.

This place sales everything. Maybe even insurance to go with tacos? Not an insult. However I wonder how difficult it must be to concentrate on what pays the bills? Pan? Restaurant? Trinkets? Shoes? Dish soap? Carneceria? Lots of items. I am here to critique the restaurant. The food was surprising good. I purchased the chiliqueles (spelt wrong) with eggs and beans. I really enjoyed it. Washed it down with an ice cold coke.
Service was subpar and it’s difficult to know who to go too.
