We came with a large group and tried several sandwiches and sides. The shrimp poboy, catfish poboy, and mufaletta sandwiches were fantastic. All of the sides including gumbo, red beans and rice, and the greens were well seasoned and quickly disappeared, but the cabbage was the surprise hit and a must have.

Love this place! Every single staff member goes above and beyond with friendly professionalism. The food hits the spot. While at an Air B&B near by I came two nights in a row. BBQ shrimp, roast beef and gravy sandwich, bologna sandwich, and Gumbo all on point. You must visit this eatery! Having lived on the west coast recently it’s so nice to be back in the south with restaurants like this!!

Rustic venue serving cajun/New Orleans style sandwiches. It's a small place with limited space. You order at the front of the restaurant and pay there. Then they bring your food to your table. Not a dinner or a date kind of place, but it's pretty good for lunch. The prices are kind of high and the pricey sandwiches don't include chips.I had an oyster poboy. The bread was excellent, unlike some of the other places which serve poboys on bread which will pull your teeth out.

Wow!! If you love New Orleans you have to try our local Parish Grocery in Cooper-Young. The muffuletta was sooo good and the daiquiris and snow balls were perfect, especially on a hot day. The weather was perfect for sitting on their front porch and enjoying the breeze.

Poboy and Mac and cheese didn’t disappoint. Fried green tomatoes served piping hot but very salty. Got a frozen hurricane, somehow it tasted medicinal like a penicillin cocktail nowhere near any other hurricanes I’ve had before… not recommended. Love the ambiance but food left a bit to be desired

Having gone to college in New Orleans, I definitely wanted to check this spot to see if it truly captures the tastes of the Crescent City! I must say it was indeed a delight! The menu is pretty extensive and there are so many more items that I want to try when I return. They advertise “Boozy Snoballs” and that’s now at the top of my list for my next visit. They were out of bread pudding due to the Cooper Young Festival happening the day before I visited so that’s now number two on my list to try. Can’t wait to go back.

I really wanted to like this place.Oyster PoBoy had some good oysters but not enough, and the bread was ok but so empty (other than cocktail sauce??)Won't spend that much money again on a sandwich that isn't awesome.Crawfish Mac & Cheese was the best part.

I visited this establishment yesterday. I was not pleased at all. The service was okay, and the food left much to be desired. I order a catfish dinner, mac n cheese, and greens. I received one fillet, cut in half to make two pieces. The greens were canned and not good, the mac n cheese was just blah. This meal was $16. My man ordered a shrimp poboy that was served on hard bread, seven shrimp (yes we counted them) and loads of lettuce. He ordered a side a cajun slaw, which was blah also. We also ordered two drinks, I had a spiked lemonade, which was a mixture of some alcohol I’ve never heard of, and lemonade that poured from a jug, no biggie here. He had a frozen concoction that was awful. We left 75% of our food and drinks at the table. Our tab was over $60 and we left unsatisfied. Also, apparently there is a 3% charge for using a debit card. It’s listed on my receipt as non-cash discount adj. Ow I ordered an order or cajun queso while we waited for our food, it was too spicy to be edible. I found it hilarious that I heard the cashier yelling to the back to another worker, to just heat the queso up for one minute. ? For some reason the additional charge wasn’t on this receipt. I won’t even address most of the employees hanging out in the back when we pulling in to park, or all of the profanity that we, along with other guest could hear coming from the kitchen. It’s safe to say, I will not return.
