This is a favorite restaurant and we have been patrons for years. After Mr George Hunt passed, we expected there to be some changes but we were still surprised to find fewer of the traditional crepes. We opted for the Monday night special. The soup was excellent, as were the popovers. The salad had a lot of stems but the toppings were good. The entree, however was not as listed on the menu. For example, the Parmesan Brussels sprouts were nowhere to be found. Instead, it was the same old vegetable medley. The food was not warm. The sauce, though delicious, was scant! There wasn't enough! The meat was tough. It was tasty but it was tough. Oh! And it was a pork chop, not tenderloin. The whipped potatoes were great! The key lime pie was good but very sweet. Service was great but our server didn't check on us after the entrees were served until some time had passed. My dining friend wanted his plate to be heated and we both wanted more mustard sauce. We didn't get any more sauce snd my friend did his best to eat his room temperature food. With desert, my friend wanted coffee but it was not offered and our server rushed away before he could ask. All in all, I still give the experience a 3 for food (it wasn't awful) and above average for everything else. I will give the food another chance as well. It could have been an off night!

For the price, the experience was not excellent. The country ham was so salty we couldn't eat it. The chef said it was country ham so it was supposed to be salty, but this was overly salty, too salty to eat. So this was a waste of our money. It was Father's Day and I apologized profusely to my husband for taking him to a place that didn't live up to our expectations for $103. We have been here before with good experiences, but unfortunately not this time. Don't think we will be returning.

I made a reservation 6 weeks ago for Father's Day. I requested a table for 2 by the window. When I got there the table was not ready. There was no one at the front to greet me when I came in. When she did come up front she said they were a little busy today. Looked around and noticed the place looked like it was short staffed. I did not get the table by a window as requested but was seated right by the front where people stood inside the restaurant and stared at us which was uncomfortable. The table we were seated at was hard to see. You had to look around the wall to see there were people seated at this table. After 15 minutes the waitress finally shows up. Fills our glass with lukewarm water. Rushes through our ordering process and leaves. We promptly received our soup before we're supposed to get popovers first. We asked her where the bread was she said they were baking and would bring them out as soon as they came out. We had to flag the manager down to ask what the holdup was on the bread. He said their oven broke and they were was down to one oven. We told him about not being too happy with our seating and not receiving our bread. He just stood there and looked at us. When it finally came out, it was doughy and a big mess. The waitress brought our food and drop off it off and left. I got egg Benedict that was overcooked on top of a floured crab cake. The potatoes was cold and hard and so was my asparagus. My husband's was no better. In the meantime I ran out of my water never got a refill. Took forever to get the dessert so when she brought it asked for a to go box and check so we could get out of there. The place looked run down. We went there years ago and loved it. While we were there another couple was not happy with their seating and overheard them cause we were seated right there by the front door. The woman was so disgusted she told her husband, let's go. I wished I had done the same thing they did and left as soon as I was seated.

Special menu wasn't noticeably advertised (other tables left when they found out). Manager worked with us on this so not a big deal. Crab cake Benedict - hollandaise was on the edge of the plate but not the actual crab cakes or eggs. I will say, the poached eggs were excellent. The accompanying potatoes seemed like they might have been cooked for brunch the week before. I've never had any potatoes as tough as these. Lobster bisque followed by the red fish was well paired and cooked well. The key lime pie was okay and not quite what I thought might be the ending of the three course meal as I hoped more French than Florida Keys.

The ambiance, the views, the service and the food combine to give diners a European feel right on the banks of the Mississippi River in the heart of the mid-south.

We booked a table for 1:45 not knowing they closed at 2:00. They were gracious enough to allow us to keep our reservation. The staff was nice and the food was good.

Our table had ordered a variety of dishes. Overall the food was very very good. However, on three of the orders, one of the major ingredients was switched for a different ingredient because they were out of of the main ingredient. This was not discovered until the plates were brought to the table. At that time, we inquired and were informed that they were out of those two ingredients so it was switched. The other three people were very satisfied with their meal.

We were staying at the River Inn of Harbor Town. We needed to leave early for a graduation ceremony on Saturday morning. We requested to have our breakfast ready to go by 7 am. They had our breakfasts ready on time and they were delicious. (thank you!) On Sunday, we dined in at the restaurant. We all ordered different items and they were all good. Our server was nice and professional. Next time we are in Memphis, we would definitely dine there again.

Came here 5/11 for Mother's Day. First, there was no mention of a set menu...not to mention, 2 of the things weren't even available. Secondly, the food was by far the BLANDEST food I've ever tasted. My mom and I both ordered the filet mignon and salad. The meat was super tough, and no flavor even with garlic butter on top! The asparagus was literally 4-5 pieces that were smaller than a pencil. The mashed potatoes tasted like air, absolutely no flavor at all...no butter, no salt, no pepper, NOTHING! The salad was literally a handful of bagged lettuce with 1 piece of cucumber and 2 sliced cherry tomatoes. My 5 year old had chicken tenders and fries, which he wouldn't eat after taking 1 bite. The service was up to par. The total for this disappointment was around $210, which included automatic $30ish gratuity. I will not be returning.

Paulette's has always been my go-to place for a relaxing and enjoyable meal. The wait staff is excellent, polite, and very knowledgeable. We ordered the grilled redfish with crabmeat (we had to search for the crab) and Filet Mignon. The filet was cooked perfectly, but it came out tepid with a tablespoon of herbed butter on top, which never melted, as the steak was warm at best. The coffee machine was broken, and no cappuccino was available to complement the wonderful dessert. Overall, the meal was outstanding due to the flavors and ambiance. It would have been nice if the waitstaff had stated that 20% gratuity had already been added instead of stamping it on a separate receipt, so keep that in mind.

When I made the reservations for Mother's Day, it did not say it was a limited set menu. We sent the lobster bisque back because it was too salty. The salad and fish were mediocre. The red fish with lump crab meat didn't have any crab meat that I could tell. And what was listed as an apricot glazed fruit tart was instead a large square of bland puff pastry with a spoonful of berries on top. The whole meal was disappointing, except for the popovers with the strawberry butter. The servers were friendly and sympathetic. With a prefixe menu, automatic 20% tip and no alcohol, I paid $176

I was treated to the Mothers Day brunch by my husband. We had an early reservation and when we arrived there were only a few people in the restaurant . The hostess initially seated us in a room off from the restaurant in a small 2 top over in a dark corner with no one else in the room but 2 large tables. After My husband expressed total dissatisfaction we were moved to the main dining room. WOW! Thankfully, after that remedy our server Jordan was OUTSTANDING ! She turned what could have been a disaster into an Amazing dining experience !

Not what it used to be. Kinda sad. Had reservations at 6:30pm on a Saturday night. They'd already run out of food when we ordered The service was slow. Food was just average and not worth the price for what they had. Wont go back.

Always an excellent experience...food, service, elegant setting, view of Mississippi River continues in the gloried tradition established by George Falls.
