Well- likely never be as good as it was.... Beautiful ambiance Slow service at 5 pm arrival - not busy D rinks ordered but did not arrive until after salads/big delay u acceptable without explanation No popovers as batch messed up - then had to keep asking and finally got 1 a piece. Asked for extra salad dressing brought out wrong one - ordered house with house vinegarette- was given ranch? Charged 0.45–really Filet Paulette my forever favorite just was not up to par? Was barely warm. Green peppers have in past been sliced these were diced- do not like that. Potatoes were flavorless- salt pepper helped. Service nice lady- tried- but slow overall. Not sure where Pauletta lost the edge on service, flavor and overall nice night out. I will likely not choose this again. My individual bill for 1 drink, 1 house salad, 1 filet Paulette and tip was almost $100 and I'm still agitated about the $0.45 charge for tablespoon of extra salad dressing. Sad when things could be good but they aren't.

Well to my delight, the iced water was really really good! It was definitely worth ordering again. Went there for a special menu and was told that they were out of half of the special menu items. Corn chowder wasn't hot when brought to my table. Went there expecting marinated beef and a Jamaican crepe and settled for the pecans chopped up on flounder and a chocolate crepe. Took a while for the food to get to us and the food on the plate was oozing grease, my fav! The waitress was nice and I started to feel bad because she ended up apologizing to us for most of the night because of the lack of available items. I did enjoy myself, especially the refills of water. I really wanted to ask for a to-go gallon, seriously. Best water I have had in a restaurant ever!

Visited on Monday November 3rd! Bad timing with first day of restaurant week! The staff was overwhelmed, service very slow, they ran out of a lot of food especially things that were on the Monday night special menu. We said we would come back and give it another chance!

We were very disappointed with our dinner at Paulette's. We have enjoyed previous visits but this one was unacceptable. We had to wait for a very long time for any beverages, food, receipt of and processing of check. We were told repeatedly that the kitchen was behind because of a large private party. The wait staff largely ignored other patrons who seemed visibly annoyed. We did make our concerns known to one of the assistant managers who apologized again and blamed the kitchen. The food was good but took far too long between courses. I'm not sure we will be visiting again anytime soon.

Very cold room. Mimosa had orange residue in bottom of glass, English muffin under eggs Benedict was impossible to cut. We drove 30 minutes to have brunch downtown here. Not again soon...

The food was delicious and the service was friendly but it took a very long time for the food to come out and the restaurant was nearly empty at 6 on a Saturday night. The seafood was fresh and delicious and the K pie is really wonderful as always. I am worried about the future of this Memphis institution.

Soup was excellent, entree less appetizing, and desert rather disappointing as well. However, staff were very welcoming and the view and ambience very nice.

All I can say is that the food was not good. It was served very sloppy and it did not have on the plate what was supposed to be on plate. Talked to chef and he said that it has been bought out and everything is different. It was one of my favs and I will not go back again! I have been coming there for over 40 years and it was totally unacceptable.

The lunch was very disappointing. My Eggs Benedict had hard cooked eggs and very minimal hollandaise sauce, plus an English muffin that was nearly impossible to cut with my knife. I knew the egg yolks should have been runny, and should have sent the dish back. The whole thing had a strange taste. The popovers were heavy with no flavor and the strawberry butter was not very strawberry-ish. The only part of the meal I enjoyed were the strawberry crepes we shared, but after a couple of bites my dining partner had to make a dash for the bathroom. They made her sick. Paulette’s used to be so good…I wish they still offered their Louisiana shrimp crepes and their spinach soufflé.

Brunch Sunday was a disappointment. “Cappuccino” which was just lighter coffee in a mug & was actually cold. 3 of us ordered eggs Benedict, one was swimming in hollandaise, one had barely any. Ham was super salty and the English muffins were soggy. Huge disappointment. Server was sweet and did her best but they seemed overwhelmed.

Our food was really bad: flounder was unseasoned and sad, crab cakes seemed like something from the grocery store freezer aisle. The shrimp and grits were the only exception, so we all three split that. Very overpriced for such bland food.

Such a sad experience of what was once a beautiful fine dining place in downtown Memphis! Only 4 tables of customers, lighting WAY to bright at 6:00 pm, no background music (very awkward silence) cocktail was blah and main course took so long to come out we left after an hour of waiting for it and ate at home! Will not go back until someone else buys it and brings it back to its former glory!

Our server and our food was great. The hostess does you no favors and possibly hurts your business. Not sure we'll return soon and we even live within walking distance.

Brunch with family. We've eaten here before and had a good experience. This time, the food was good, but our appetizers came out before our drinks did. The waitress said it was the bartender, I'm not sure what was going on. There were only 5 other tables dining when we got there so it wasn't busy at all. Maybe they were short on staff. To be a high end dining restaurant, they need to do better. Our reservation was at 12:45 and we didn't leave until after 3. Very slow service to not be busy.

Our dinner in Paulette's was perfect and cocktails in the Terrace beforehand were great— what a view of the sunset! Our waitresses in both Paulette's ( Latecia) and the Terrace ( Niki) were outstanding!
