Loi and his family have been making great Vietnamese food here for years. They definitely make some of the best phở, bún riêu, bún bò Huế, bánh mì, bún thịt nướng, chả giò, gỏi cuốn, and cháo gà in Memphis among many other outstanding dishes. If you know you know, if you don't know you should find out.This place is all about great Vietnamese food. The beef pepper steak is really good, too, and I think they have some other Chinese options that are probably pretty good, too, but it's a Vietnamese place so you should really take advantage of their specialties.The restaurant itself is not fancy, but the food is extra fresh, especially since there is a market right next door. Some people may complain that it doesn't look super updated or that it's a little rough around the edges, but this is a family operation, they work hard for long hours. They don't have a lot of help, and they have very reasonable prices for the high quality of food and service. We absolutely love everything about Phó Só 8. Try the avocado bubble tea or a cafe sua da for dessert!Vegetarian options: If you want, they will substitute tofu for a lot of things. Just ask!Dietary restrictions: They are very accommodating with special requests including dietary restrictions.

We were craving Vietnamese while in the area and this place was close and pictures looked promising. When we arrived, there was one light that lit up the parking lot and it looked very sketchy but we were there so we decided to continue to eat there. There’s also an oriental store nearby so that was neat.It seemed they were short staff and only family was working so service was slow but the food was delish!, it was good. Broth was typical.Fried ! So good!Banh , yes yes yes.Although service was short staffed, we got our food in a timely manner and I enjoyed our time there. I would definitely return! Great place with great food!

We were a little nervous because the place was empty, but when I tell yal this place was soooooooo good! The man was not rude! They both were soooo polite and helpful! This was our first time trying Pho and we will be back! We had the shrimp pho and shrimp spring

I haven’t had Vietnamese food since I was back home in San Diego 6 years ago. I loved this place. It’s hard to find fresh healthy food in Memphis. The Pho was full of flavor and I would have shared a photo of my sandwich, but I finished it in less than two minutes. It was so amazing! I highly recommend this place.
First time customer. I went there on a Friday evening. It wasn’t busy at all and I was seated right away. I ordered the hot chicken wings and cooked beef pho. I enjoyed both items. The wings have a sweet & spicy chili sauce on them (it’s not buffalo hot). They were the perfect size, crispy, and tasty. The broth and flavor of the pho was delicious. My only feedback would be that half of the meat in my pho were tough gristles. I would return and order the same dishes. 9/10
