I have been going there for over 20 years and through several owners. It is not what it used to be. Mediocre food, mediocre staff. There are much better option for Vietnamese in Midtown.
Happy new years !! Firstly I want to say that this has got to be one of the best pho places in Memphis , it was very quiet and the service was very fast. I order the Pho Tai and the strawberry milkshake. The milkshake had to have been the freshest milkshake I have ever had in my life. Now to the pho , the broth was so good that really you don’t need any sauces that they offer. It was very savory and very warming. Definitely try the place out !
I recently ordered the meat and brisket pho as a take out. The people were very friendly at the restaurant. The amount of food that came with the pho was generous. The additional ingredients were fresh and good but missing the Thai basil (beanstalks, onions with cilantro, lime, hoisin sauce). The main reason for the 3 stars for the food is the broth. I couldn't taste some of the condiments or spices that you find in the best of pho's. There was no hint of fish sauce...
