If only our server was as tuned-in on our needs as she was for COGOC patrons. She was friendly enough but seemed a wee but stretched. They were under-staffed and it showed in how poorly they were equipped: no trays without asking for them. Having to ask multiple times for a to-go box. Having our table confused w another more than 1 time. But, all things considered, it wasn't a bad outing. The food was hot and tasty.
So, I visited Piccadilly in Whitehaven and, to be honest, I wasn’t too impressed with the mac and cheese. I ordered the special, which includes a entrée, two sides, bread, drink dessert. While I enjoy my entrée, bread, drink.
The sides like mac and cheese didn’t quite hit the mark. The other sides options also didn’t seem to be well-seasoned. I don’t understand why they didn’t give it the same attention as the carrot soufflé. I would have preferred...
