The food, the atmosphere, the service. Everything was incredible. We will definitely be back.
Haven't been really fond of upscale steakhouses in Memphis, but this one is Chef's Kiss. From the drinks, to the appetizers to the wagyu steaks, everything was perfect. I could eat the prime filet egg rolls everyday. The wagyu ribeye was cooked to perfection, no steak sauce needed. The Mac n cheese, Brussels sprouts and creamed spinach were awesome as well.
Truly the best dining experience myself and my date have ever have. From the complimentary champagne because we were celebrating...to the table-side made Old Fashioned, where they saved the tallow from making the cocktail to create a butter sauce for the steak....to the Bacon board and the Wagu deviled eggs (also tableside) plus the Surf and Turf meal.... everything was perfection. Service was immaculate. Cannot wait to go back!
Oysters and bisque were great but the loaded fries and steaks were embarrassing. The end piece of a filet shouldn't even be served in a steak restaurant and certainly not for $48. Ordered MR+ and got one side well done and the other raw, had to be sent back. NY strip was good but not for that price. Patio is great but inside is just too loud.
This was such an amazing dinner. We didn't get anything with fancy tableside fun, but we liked watching other tables who did. Our server Georgia was a gem and we really look forward to dining at Porch & Parlor the next time we are in Memphis!
Porch and Parlor never disappoints. Camille Dillard is an excellent server. She made my husband's birthday celebration special! I loved every recommendation and she was spot on with the bigger picture of taste instead of worrying about the ingredients. There were things she recommended and I was worried about one ingredient that it had and she described the taste, when we tried it we loved it!
I really wanted to love our visit, especially because the last time we came I ordered a pasta and loved it. I was excited to get it again, but the experience this time was honestly disappointing. From the beginning, our server seemed pretty standoffish, even though we were smiling and being polite. I asked a simple question about whether the lobster in the pasta was actual lobster or just in the sauce, and she responded with a snappy “like I said...”—even though she hadn't actually explained it before. It completely caught me off guard. We also ordered the bacon starter but didn't finish it, so we told her we wanted the rest packed to go. She just snatched the plate away without a word, and my partner and I looked at each other like... did she even hear that we wanted it boxed? Then, while we were mid-conversation, she set the to-go bag down right in front of my face on the table as I was speaking to my partner. No “excuse me,” no “here you go,” nothing. It was interesting though because I noticed all around us that the other waiters would place their guests to-go bags on the ground or on the seat next to them politely. She checked on us one time during the entire meal. When it came time for the check, she grabbed it without saying anything, ran the card, returned it, said a quick “thank you,” and walked away. No “have a good night,” no acknowledgment at all. The food itself was good, but the service made the whole experience uncomfortable. For a place with Porch and Parlor's reputation and price point, the level of hospitality we received was honestly not what we expected.
Amazing food and service. Bacon rack appetizer, wagyu steak, toffee bread pudding all delicious.
As usual the wait staff were fantastic. Robert the sommelier was knowledgeable and professional.
Once a year on Veterans Day, we go all out for my husband who served 23 years in the Air Force. Porch & Parlor has become a tradition we look forward to. We shared the A5 Experience, every bite was melt in your mouth perfect. Our server Alayna was wonderful and made the night feel easy and unrushed. She recommended the brussels sprouts with bacon and the Parlor potatoes and they were excellent. I wrote her name down and took her card so I will remember to ask for her next year. We also enjoyed the bacon rack, the elderberry lemon spritz and the old fashioned with bacon. It was a great evening of steak, bacon, bacon and more bacon! Our only regret was we saved no room for dessert. See you next year!

The ambience , food , service was wonderful . My server was very knowledgeable of the entire menu. Best experience I then had in a long time maybe ever. Food was great and valet was fast.
Christine made it a great celebration for our family member. She was personable and kind! She added to our night in a positive way! The food was incredible, as always. Wonderful night!
They gave me and my date everything we asked for couldn't have ask for better experience this is a place I'll be coming back to plenty more times.
Service was top notch from the moment we arrived. Favorite restaurant in Memphis hands down!
I had the opportunity to visit the restaurant on my birthday. Let me express that it was nothing short from amazing! I ordered the Redfish worth the jambalaya cake. When I say it was delicious. I also ordered the greens and they were so good. My husband ordered the blackened chicken, mashed potatoes and a Caesar salad. Everything exceeded my expectations. We will definitely go again.
