5/21 @ 8:40 pm. Sign says open until 9 pm but I was turned away because the 3 employees inside stated they were closed. Not sure what the deal is at the Union Avenue location in Memphis, TN.
Love the food!!!!
My husband and myself dined in a few weeks ago. It was great food and awesome service!!!
We ordered delivery this evening, and I really can not say enough on the great food and service!!! I would definitely recommend them!!!
Met there with classmates to discuss plans for our 30th class reunion. We reserved the meeting room, which was clean. Consequently, we ordered pizza, and the pizza was good, and the service was great.
I went to Pyro's with a small group of people on 5/13. It's so sad to see how this place has declined. It was very messy, none of the tables, and I mean like almost all of them, had been wiped down and had crumbs and used napkins all over them. I wanted to order a beer from the drink area and waited a good 5 minutes before giving up. It's odd, they weren't busy, there at least 5 employees running around, and no one ever came over to help me. This is not a one-off; literally every time I have been to this place they make you wait forever to just get a glass of beer or wine.
I will say the pizza is pretty good here for fast-casual; too bad the place is filthy and the service is, well there is no service really, other than just making pizzas and taking them out to tables.
I frequent this Pyro’s often- at least once a month on Saturdays, sometimes twice. It’s fun for my family and I and the food is good. However, there’s on HUGE caveat - unsanitary practices. They do NOT change their gloves. 🤮
The first time I came, there was a lady behind me who specifically asked that they put on new gloves. I thought maybe she was sensitive to ingredients from the pizza that was made before her. The next time I went, I noticed a girl came from around the corner and started making the pizzas. I assumed maybe she had put the gloves on right before turning the corner.
We came in last weekend and the same girl just had gloves on. Then I later came to order something else. She took my CASH with her gloves, finished ringing me up and then went straight to putting finishers on another customers pizza. As I stood there I noticed the manager came and made herself a drink and started drinking it, all with her gloves only to go straight into the kitchen.
This is extremely unsanitary and how germs are spread. Change your gloves between every pizza, after ringing customers up/touching the gross computer and especially if you’re making a drink for yourself.
This place reminds me of &pizza in Philly. The price is set and they can customize to your liking or you can order one of the original recipes. So we got 🔥 Hawaiian, tex mex and an original recipe. It was very delicious and I would go again.
Order to carry out, the staff barely added my items on my pizza was dry, little crumbs of chicken and everything not good for business
Did a pickup order and the wait was long which is understandable seeing one worker working hard to get the orders ready while other workers stared at my order and did not put all the toppings on my pizza. So I was disappointed and annoyed for waiting long for my pizza to not be made correctly.
My family and I have never been there until now, I just would like to thank the staff that was patient and welcoming with my family. This was our first time eating from there, on our way out of the state. We had a wonderful experience!
I bring my son to this location when the weather permits Saturday or Sunday. We have now became regulars.
The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about their regulars. I adore it and will keep coming back.

Brought my boyfriend here and everything was great. We sat in the big open room and they brought the pizza to us and it was great. However, an employee then came into the room and yelled the room was closed due to a party. My boyfriend and I were the only ones in the room and there weren't any signs nor was the door closed. The people said we were fine to finish eating since they just had to decorate. We ended up moving anyway. I'm not sure why the employee wouldn't just approach us and ask us politely to move versus yelling in the middle of the room rudely.
I saw no prices listed on the menu so I wasn't aware of what I would be spending for myself and kids. The pizzas are super thin but taste really good. The service was really good and fast.
We had a great time and the food was good. Thanks for allowing me to have a meeting in your conference room.
Wow! I’ve always loved the food, but I used to avoid coming due to long waits, missing items in my order, and untrained staff. However, I visited tonight for the first time since October and was pleasantly surprised. There were new faces behind the counter, the line moved quickly, and the staff was very knowledgeable about the menu. Great job, Pyro’s! I’ll definitely be coming back more often for my salad fix.
The employees were nice and the entire restaurant was clean.
