Gator Gumbo
Our two-year championship recipe revived this new Orleans favorite on Beale street. This hearty roux-based stew starts with the holy trinity of celery, bell peppers, and onions. Then we add kielbasa sausage, chicken, crab meat, gator, catfish, and shrimp. Throw in a truckload of spices, simmer and enjoy.
Jumbo Smoked Wings
Your choice of spicy, BBQ sauce, or BBQ rub. Served with ranch and bleu cheese dressing.

This ain't the Caribbean and but we do get a nice breeze off the big muddy. Goes best with an ice-cold draft beer in a frosty glass.

The place is worth visiting because of all the guitars hanging from the ceiling. And it's incredibly cool interior. We got there at 7pm and there were few people there, calm. A band started playing and it drew people in straight away, it eventually became a good atmosphere! The food was nothing to brag about, but you come there for the experience.

We spent a few hours hopping down Beale Street trying things from a few restaurants. Rum Boogie Cafe blew BB Kings pulled pork BBQ out of the water! I am so glad we stopped in. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was awesome, the live entertainment was great and the food was amazing! We will definitely be back.

The interior is a sight to see. I loved all the guitars hanging around the whole place. The tables had bright, cheerful plastic gingham tablecloths. The staff were friendly and service was quick. The entertainment was good.

Now about the food, the BBQ Pulled Pork was delightfully smoky with a sweet BBQ sauce poured onto the sandwich. I loved it. It was $18 and did not come with any sides. I had the fried okra that wasn't seasoned much but I still loved...
