Our two-year championship recipe revived this new Orleans favorite on Beale street. This hearty roux-based stew starts with the holy trinity of celery, bell peppers, and onions. Rum Boogie is THE PLACE to be in Memphis. At the corner of
BB KING and BEALE, the epicenter of the blues.
The sound engineer Robbie has a Note on the sidewalk walk of fame. She runs the best sound on Beale.
The food and drinks are delicious and reasonably priced. The chairs are the most comfortable on Beale.
Thanks to Whitley, our server. She provided us outstanding service in the very challenging environment of the International Blues Challenge....

The live music was sensational! The waitress not so much. In fact, if you see a waitress wearing tye dye walking your way, sit in another section. All the other waitstaff appeared superb.

This is a great pub, the food is what you expect from a pub, basic but good. We visited the pub two nights in a row the music was very good even if its not your sort of music it's very listenable to. The service and staff were good and helpful.
