The arepas and patacones were delicious. My family also got the sampler platter, which we enjoyed. The service was good and the ambiance on the back balcony seating area was nice.

I thought I was going to a new spot on Madison. Turns out I had been there YEARS ago. Glad to see they have maintained their location. Food was good and service started off good but fell off when it was time for our check. Made me not want to return.

Savor Caribe is one of my favorite restaurants in Memphis. I love the arepas, plantains, beans, quesillo, and churros. This time, I ordered a drink which was fantastic.

I’ve been to dozens of places that serve arepas, which gives me a fair basis for comparison.

Service: The service was decent—staff was polite and offered help with the menu. I’d rate this aspect 4 stars.

Food: The taste was average. Given the pricing, I expected the arepas to be generously filled, similar to other places, but the portion was more like a typical homemade serving. Additionally, one arepa was advertised with grilled chopped meat, but the actual filling didn’t match the image or expectation. It wasn’t bad, but it didn’t leave a strong impression or make me want to return soon—3 stars for the food.

Atmosphere & Location: The atmosphere felt a bit heavy, and the location is somewhat out of the way. Parking is limited, with only space for about five cars out front since it’s in a downtown area.

Overall, it’s a good starting point, but there’s still room for improvement before it stands out as excellent.

Was there for more than 40 minutes. Waiter took forever to get our order of drinks. She came to check after ten minutes and no drinks were ever brought to the table. Waiter never took order. Ended up walking out and even when walking on nobody noticed our departure. Horrible service. Workers that don't give customer care.

I missed the small note on the menu about included service fee for “4+”, and I didn’t expect it to be included on a single bill for party of 4 leading to a huge unintentional double+ tip. That always makes me feel a bit ripped off.

Food and service were pretty good, though.
