A weekly must. The Paneer 65 is a masterpiece. Get that with potato salad, a cold beer, and red pepper humus to share. Then, end the night on a sweet note with an Indian Breadpudding to go, which is divine. Shamira and her family are amazing. She is very thoughtful and personable. This is the most consistent restaurant I have ever been to. Every single time I go, I am always amazed at how my meal is exactly how I know it will be- the best sandwhich I've ever had.

Portions have reduced in size over the last 4 months. Sandwiches are same length but much more narrow.

This was my first time eating here and I am glad we found this place. This was a hidden gem for sure.
We ordered the Bibimbap with Korean chicken the the Gyro sub. We also had Mozzarella sticks as an appetizer.
The food came out fast and hot, mostly since we were the only ones there.
Food was 9 and 8/10 and the place was cozy. We were really surprised the place wasn't packed but we will be back for sure.

A hidden jewel. Must try & you will not be disappointed. My husband & I got introduced to this place about 8 months ago by my coworkers. They specialize in Indian food & as African Americans this was new to us but baaaaaaaaaby we hit a homerun on this place. All their sauces are homemade & absolutely delish! We have had the Bimba bowl the 69 pizza, the 69 sub and my personal favorites are the huge sweet chili wings & fried green tomatoes! That sauce that comes with those tomatoes are to die for. Did I mention that I can throw down in the kitchen as well so it's hard to please a cook. But I am very pleased with Sam's deli. The family is so sweet & welcoming. We are family now! This place needs to be more known so come out & experience this hidden gem.

My family and I grabbed sandwiches and bibimbap. All of them were flavorful and delicious. The hoagie bread is especially enjoyable. The service was also top notch. The ladies that helped us were super friendly. Also , they are dog lovers at Sam's Deli. They heard we were traveling with our dogs ,and they gave us some treats and some water to give them. We will be visiting again!!

The owner was welcoming and provided great suggestions on what to order based on my interests. I will advise that the sandwich is quite spicy. But it is tasty. I can’t wait to try out their other offerings.

I love this place, best sandwiches in Memphis! Muffaletta, Hopgood 65, Nashvegas and Big Tex are my fav. The Indian specials and fusion are awesome too, love the vegetable somasas!! The Bibimbap is sooo good. Been rocking with them since they were in the discount gas station at Summer and Perkins. Very sweet family owned, excellent service, excellent food! If you're visiting Memphis this is a must go-to.
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian dishes that even a meat eater like me loves. Vegetable somasas, vegetable bibimbap, etc. Many of the subs and other menu items that have meat can be subbed with paneer, etc.

Sams Deli was an absolute delight. I got the mango bonfire hoagie, pasta salad, and aloo paratha. All of it was so delicious, and hands down probably one of the best hoagies I've eaten. The waitress was also so sweet and attentive. She gave me background to some of the dishes there, and I really enjoyed learning about them too. I will be returning, and if you haven't been... GOOO!! I promise you won't regret it❤️❤️
