This place is way too nice for the service we received from a Memphis staple on a Friday evening. I felt so sad that the waitress never came to ask if we needed help ( which we did), and we had to ask the owner to help us place a food order. Gee Gee was great she served us food. Tyler is the greatest bartender we have ever met. He covers the bar inside and outside on Beale Street.

Lovely bar great atmosphere and brilliant bar staff , but as been a Irish bar. Well that's another story, not one sign in Irish, only the Tricolour ???? and some kind of Donegal flag...Nothing linking to our great Nation ????

This was my first dinner stop on Beale Street. I arrived and found dueling pianos were playing! On a Thursday night there wasn't even a cover charge. There is someone at the door so I thought they were collecting a charge, but she was just there to welcome you in!
Ordered the catfish basket. The fish was a generous size and perfectly fried with a light batter. The fish was still flaky and not dry at all.
Also tried the small rib platter. Tried two bites of the ribs, first was amazingly tender with a great flavor. My second bite was a bit dry. Also the baked beans are a must with the chunks of pork cooked in there. The Cole slaw is different with its vinegar base.
They also have a nice history, with a goat in the courtyard. Didn't make it out there, but it was always lively with live bands.
Unfortunately I didn't make it to the restroom here, so can't report on that ?

Waitress was not friendly at all. Food came out cold. Pork had so much fat in it you could not even eat it . Do not waste your money.

Irish bars are always always a good choice. Fried pickles were a little salty.

I rarely write low reviews, I appreciate the restaurants for what they are. But I was very disappointed with this one.
1. I walked in and was told to pick a seat, to find out there was no service in the patio area.
2. Relocated, still no service. Finally the hostess/manager took my drink order.
3. They DO NOT have raw Oysters, even though it's said so on the menu, they all are baked under cheese or spinach sauce.
4. Service was poor.
5. They had the worst singer in the Universe. The best part was when he said he was taking a break.
Highlights: super cute ? ?
And a very very very hard working hostess/managers, she must her a raise!
