?????? Why is the food served on parchment paper instead of plates

My husband and I stayed right on the same block as this place, so we decided to stop by. The owner was so nice and welcoming ! We left with no leftovers...that never happens lol it was absolutely fantastic ? they know what they're doing in that kitchen. Some of the best food I've ever tasted! My husband got maple bacon pancakes and omggggg. And the LEMONADE!!!!!! OH THE LEMONADE,
It's the best I've ever had, i swear!! Just try this place ,you'll never regret it. We are from Louisiana, so we really appreciated the hospitality!

Stopped by for lunch today while visiting the sites downtown. The BBQ was top notch and the service great. I highly recommend eating here and I will definitely return when visiting the area again.

The lobby was not inviting, kiosk is there to place your order, not a person to talk to you to assure you that you are welcome or that your order is coming right up.
Took my whole lunch hour to get my food, and then it wasn't all that good.

What a welcoming experience. I’m mad that I’m forgetting the females name that welcomed us with open arms when we came through the door, but she was AMAZING!! Had great conversation about their visits to Chicago, and our quick trip to Memphis. And the food…sooooooooo darn good! I suggest doing the flights for the food… you get to sample so many different flavors…each one as good as the other! And don’t leave without trying the fried PB&J…you won’t be sorry!!! I’m glad to say that we have officially been SMURFED!!!!

Stopped in on a whim. Place was dead quiet, but staff was friendly! Cook came out with my order, and later offered me a to-go box. In these days of fast food, and staff who don't care, this was a treat. Thanks guys!

OH, and the loaded BBQ fries....awesome...and huge!!

We went on a Saturday evening and it was not busy at all- almost to the point we turned around to go somewhere else- but I’m SO glad we went in! Delicious pulled pork and great BBQ sauce. Smoky baked beans and fries with some seasoned salt MMMMM yum.

Kid-friendliness: High chair available, one BBQ sandwich was enough for our two young kids to share

We really weren’t sure because it wasn’t as well know to us as some other BBQ spots around but man are we glad we stopped in. The staff was courteous and accommodating. I’d put this BBQ up against any place that thinks they have the best. Must try if you’re downtown.
