We chose Soul Fish Cafe online -the menu was appealing. Easy access and parking. The food was amazing, everything was cooked perfectly, and seasoned just right! I had the catfish dinner, and substituted pickled green tomatoes instead the fries.The service was great, our server was so friendly, and paid attention to small details. I would drive to Memphis just for this food!!
The atmosphere was relaxed, and the serves were pleasant. There are items a vegetarian can eat. I had a Ceasar salad, which was good.

On yesterday I order 2 catfish plates and the fish was so small like Nemo. The manager on staff stated it was a normal size. I was charged $16.99 for a piece fish that was cut in half. RedLobster gives me two whole pieces of fish for $14.99 with 2 sides. I will never ever go there again. They give you less for your money. One piece of fish was not fresh. She didn't even wanted to add another piece of fish. They was so small. I'm going to go to 2 different restaurants and bring some catfish for them so them can see because they are totally lost.

You must wait until your entire party is present to be seated which is kind of a bummer is most of the party is there. Catfish is decent, they could use a little bit more seasoning, but it’s fried perfectly. I would not recommend the Cajun cabbage, I’m not sure what was “Cajun”about it, almost no flavor and veryyyy watery. The only Cajun about it was the sausage. The portion sizes are great though and I really enjoyed my white chocolate cheesecake.
Parking: Behind the building, near a dumpster. So it does not smell well in the summer.
Kid-friendliness: Good choices on the kids menu even for picky eaters.

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised. The food was hot and fresh, so much so, that I had to blow my food before trying it. I had the blacked salmon, and it was seasoned perfectly. It was cooked just right also, being light and flaky, and not undercooked. If we visit this side of Memphis again, we’re DEFINITELY coming back to the Soul Fish Cafe.
