We had dinner at the Poplar location. There were 24 in our party, half visiting from out of town. No accommodations were offered to seat us close to each other. We were told that they don't move tables to accommodate large groups. I don't recommend this restaurant if there will be more than 5 people in your party. Management never came over to address the issue. Instead, they allowed there undertrained host to deal with it. They were slow to clean tables off knowing...
We had a party of 15 after a family memorial, and everything about our experience was wonderful. The food was absolutely delicious across the board, and the service was excellent. Our waitress, Jenny, was amazing she stayed on top of everything, was attentive, patient, and made sure our large group was taken care of without missing a beat. The atmosphere, the food, and the service were exactly what we needed after a long, emotional day.
Nice place, good catfish. A little greasy but satisfying. It's a small cafe with concrete block walls, so the acoustics are loud and voices reverberate. Not a romantic spot, but a decent fish house. Prices are average. I give it 4 stars.
