I just stop by the one on Austin Pea
I order greens, fried porkchops, yam, and mac and cheese, corn bread. The porkchops are fried so hard and crust so thick on them you would have to pull the skin off to get to the thin porkchop, green nothing but stems, yam no sugar, I looked at the mac and cheese before I payed it didn't look like the mac and cheese so I had him to take it off. So I want be going back for a while. $17.00 I through away.

Austin peay location is sending out chicken wings with feathers all over it. There's no way y'all believe this to be acceptable. This shows a lack of preparation and passion for the food you serve to the public and horrible leadership.

This is my second choosing to eat at Southern hands because I wanted southern food. As normal I would order Kams Pork chop. At first it was to salty. Small portion bof rice. When pork chops are as big as your hands. I returned my food for refund.
This time I go. I get the same order SIDE IF RICE .... LOL NOW I'm missing my cornbread. And gravy all on the dressing when I stated no gravy
It's like every time I order it's always SOMETHING. then they wanna close 15 mins early.
In totally I spend 45 dollars and it really wasn't worth it.

This is a sad thing when you have a person wait 6 minutes for cornbread and they come out burnt and half wrapped in foil. There were literally 6 or more people at work and I was the only person in that mane until the door Dasher came in and he had to wait also. These folks are really bad representations for the business and the culture let me make my own cornbread. Y'all black businesses shutting down because you got people working for you with nothing to lose. Find people who know if the business fails they fail also. I'm done with southern hands on Austin Pray and that's on Mary had a little lamb!

Hands down one of the best if not the best soul food spot in Memphis the food is consistent throughout all locations I’ve been to. The corn bread is amazing. The yams yes always a hit. And I always get the fish.
