I ordered the biscuit with sausage egg and cheese. Came out hot and with hash browns. Service was good and food came out fast.

Table dirty. Drinks hot. Food subpar at best. I won't be coming back. You could make better food at home and have a better time. Save your money.

The service was good. The server was checking up on us every 5 minutes. The food was good but just for the two of us, they charged me 18% gratuity which caught me off guard because normally it’s for a party. I forgot my food on the table when I went to the car and when I went back, it was thrown away.

Stacks Kitchen in Germantown is a delightful culinary gem that truly deserves a five-star review. From the moment I stepped inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere enveloped me, setting the stage for an exceptional dining experience. The rustic decor, combined with the cheerful ambiance, makes it the perfect spot for a casual brunch or a cozy dinner.
The menu is a tantalizing mix of classic comfort food and innovative dishes that cater to all taste buds. I opted for the philly omelette. Each bite was a harmonious bringing a sense of happiness with every forkful.
However, what truly elevated my dining experience was the service provided by Shawn, our waitress. Her genuine enthusiasm and attentive nature made us feel like valued guests rather than just customers. Shawn was knowledgeable about the menu, recommending the perfect coffee blend to complement our meal. Her friendly demeanor and quick service truly enhanced our visit, making it feel personal and memorable.
In conclusion, Stacks Kitchen in Germantown is not just a place to eat; it’s a destination for anyone seeking comfort food with a twist. The combination of delectable dishes and outstanding service from attentive staff like Shawn makes it a must-visit. I left with a full belly and a smile, eager to return and explore more of their culinary offerings. Highly recommended!

Wait for a table depends on how busy the place is, If it's a weekday, chances are you should be good, although Thursdays and Fridays can get busier. Weekends they usually have a hostess coordinating and can have a wait-list, so get a menu and get an idea of your order ahead of time. The Staks of the month are almost always great, and the skillets are too. The specialty Staks are certainly sweet, but very good. The pancakes are very filling, a tall stak will leave you full almost guaranteed. The taco trio is also great, though the sausage and chicken were better than the chorizo.

Overall, I’d give the place a 3 out of 5 mainly for the atmosphere. And kind service. The space is really pretty, fancy yet casual, and very aesthetic. The service was great — we didn’t have to wait at all since we were the only customers, and the staff was super kind and polite.
As for the food, I ordered a breakfast quesadilla which was actually very good. The hash brown, though, was bland and not enjoyable. My friend got a chicken biscuit, but the biscuit tasted oddly like a pancake — not in a good way — and it fell apart easily. We also ordered a strawberry shortcake cake, expecting something more jammy, but it ended up being way too sweet, almost like pure sugar. That might’ve been on us, but it wasn’t what we expected.
Overall, it’s a cute place and the item I ordered was solid, so I’d kind of recommend it if you’re curious and want to try it for yourself.

Their service was excellent I appreciate the young lady that took our order. She took her time to make sure we was good even though the food had burnt taste we was offered to redo on them.

This is a a wonderful and great hidden gem. The menu is a unique variety of flavors. Whether vegan or traditional meals Staks has something for you. I'm truly a super fan of the cinnamon roll pancakes ,but I've had the veggie bowl and shrimp and grits too. Each item was a great choice. Go try a unique menu with great service today.

Menu is quite exciting for a breakfast place. Like none we’ve ever seen. And the breakfast bar menu is off the charts fabulous!
We really enjoyed the hospitality of our server, she was helpful in guiding us through the menu… and later helping us find new places in Memphis to explore.
Sometimes we forget the best local tour guides are the servers.
The decor and style was fun to look at with the vibrant colors, although you can tell by the chairs it was thrown together on a dime.
The food itself was hit or miss. My husbands sizzle plate was really good. My more modest meal was lacking in taste and portion.

This place is really dirty. It’s also like a slip and slide all over the floors. Trash was everywhere and it’s just grimy and gross. The food is just ok. Breakfast burrito would be better if it came in a plain flour tortilla not a basil one. Pancakes were good but flat not fluffy. Gouda grits are grits w cold shredded cheese sprinkled on top.

unfortunately, my experience was not so pleasant. i ordered 2 pancakes, lightly scrambled eggs w/spinach & cheese and a side of bacon. my eggs were hard, i told the server he sent them back so when i got them back they added water to them, put them back on the griddle and served them back to me. it was very obvious. And my granddaughter’s pancakes were not done. i am soooo disappointed and not satisfied. Also ordered a coffee and never got it.
